ACCELLOS ONE WAREHOUSE S INTRODUCTION TO ACCELLOS ONE WAREHOUSE S To provide customers with maximum flexibility and cost effective solutions, Accellos offers three pre-packages editions, as well as modular licensing that lets customers pinpoint the functions and systems they wish to purchase as part of their Accellos One Warehouse system. The pre-packages editions Collect Edition, Manage Edition and Fulfill Edition, are designed to meet the requirements and scope of a variety of distribution centers. All additional functionality offered by Accellos One Warehouse is licensed individually on a modular basis, which includes Modules and Toolkits. The Editions and Modules and Toolkits are described in the sections following. COLLECT The Collect Edition is the basic or easy edition of Accellos One Warehouse. Collect is designed to be a true entry level product. It offers simplified user processes and implementation, while still providing a robust WMS solution. Concentrating on the basic features, this version has a streamlined setup and configuration process that lets customers get up and running with less effort and a minimized learning curve. MANAGE The Manage Edition is essentially the Collect Edition with the addition of the Kitting, Multi-Zone and Labor Standards modules. It maintains the simplicity of the entry level Collect Edition, while providing: Kitting for sites that need some sort of production facility. Multi-zone functionality for sites that need to use zones for specific purposes such as hazmat or freezers or if they define their warehouse layout using different zones. Labor standards functionality, as well as the ability to optionally add other modules, as required. FULFILL The Fulfill Edition builds on the features and functions of the Collect/Manage Editions by adding some of the most commonly used advanced features. Fulfill addresses the desire for the most frequently requested enhancements, without requiring customers to buy specialized features they don t need. Growing businesses will find that the upgrades in the Fulfill package provide additional functionality for current and future needs. 3

OPTIONAL MODULES AND TOOLKITS Since many businesses have specialized needs, Accellos One Warehouse offers numerous modules/toolkits that can be purchased individually. Accellos understands that businesses don t want to buy functionality that they will never use or that they don t have the infrastructure to support. Therefore, the new licensing model allows you to pinpoint and purchase only the modules/toolkits you require. Modules are a standard set of functions that do not require any additional development to implement. Toolkits are used by our Professional Services Development Team to build custom solutions for customers. For example, we have the ability to control carousels and conveyors, but each site requires some level of customization. The customer would be required to purchase the Warehouse Automation Toolkit and then a number of days of custom development at our standard PS rates in order to implement a complete solution. 4

RMAs: Receive products against Returned Materials Authorizations (RMAs) which allows customers to return products to the warehouse Includes a Returns Order Entry Web Dispatch function, END OF LINE (EOL) WORKFLOW: Controls what additional processes happen to sales orders after they are fully picked. The End Of Line (EOL) Workflow Module extends the capabilities of the simplified EOL process (included in Collect and Manage) to provide functionality for: A formal shipping step between picking and order confirmation is required Carton-level or order shipping information needs to be captured through the handheld (for example, weights, shipping methods) Additional labels and/or paper documents are required and should be printed automatically Forcing a Shipping and/or External step prior to sales orders being uploaded to the host Handheld functionality to capture shipping information (carton shipping, recording shipping information, staging) Automatically print carton labels after picking and during carton shipping Automatically print paper packing slips and other documents after picking and during carton shipping Not Available Standard Not Available Standard 21

OPTIONAL MODULES MODULE NAME COLLECT MANAGE FULFILL ORDER CONSOLIDATION: used to combine partial sales orders from a specific customer / ship_to address into a single order for processing in the warehouse. Note: Each ERP system supports this functionality slightly differently. Please work with your reseller to determine how this will work in your specific environment. Consolidate if Possible function when sales orders are waved When selected, orders for the same customer & ship_to are merged into a single sales order for picking Orders are consolidated in their entirety A consolidated order can contain lines (or partial lines) from one or more sales order, and is picked, packed, shipped, and uploaded as if it was a single sales order. Items from different sales orders can be picked into the same carton, something that is not possible without consolidation APPOINTMENT SCHEDULING: A set of tools to help you cost effectively move from a manual appointment system to an automated one assign dock door appointments for both inbound and outbound shipments apply scheduling rules to minimize congestion and increase speed and efficiency define key rules for hours of operation, average time per load type, door restrictions, min/max appointment time visible from any browser, anywhere Not Available Not Available 22

MODULE NAME COLLECT MANAGE FULFILL ADVANCED RECEIVING: A group of functions built to support complex receiving operations including Container Receiving, Random Receiving and ASN receiving. Note: Each ERP system supports this functionality slightly differently. Please work with your reseller to determine how this will work in your specific environment. Container Receiving Receive products into the warehouse against an inbound manifest rather than individual purchase orders. Containers can be downloaded from the ERP or defined through the Accellos One Warehouse system Simplifies check-in, improves accuracy and speeds receiving operations. Random Receiving Receive by product number and let the system determine which purchase order to receive against ASN Receiving ASN license plate /Tracking numbers can be downloaded with the purchase order from the host accounting system. ASNs (Advance Shipping Notices) are an efficient way of receiving stock into the warehouse, based on a license plate /tracking/track trace number Not Available 23

MODULE NAME COLLECT MANAGE FULFILL LICENSE PLATES: provides an effective way of grouping products onto pallets (or into cartons) for easy movement and tracking throughout the warehouse.license plates make handling related products more efficient, especially pre-packs and serialized items Serialized Items Rather than identifying every serial number every time a pallet is moved, serial numbers are efficiently tracked and moved through the warehouse using license plates Pre-packs are mixed cartons created by vendors they contain multiple items in specific quantities that are ordered by customers and therefore are never typically opened. Each Pre-Pack requires a license plate. License plates can be created through Receiving, Miscellaneous Adjustments that add stock to the warehouse, and Direct Moves. Once the license plate is created, you can add and remove products from the license plate, move and assign the license plate to a new bin, or pick the license plate to fulfill a sales order. Single-item license plates can cycle counted, including the ability to add new single-item license plates during cycle counting and License Plate Audit where you can confirm which license plates are stored in a bin, but not the contents. CARTONIZATION: Using dimensional product data and standard boxes, splits sales orders into individual cartons before being released for picking. When orders are allocated, they are automatically split up into their discrete cartons for picking directly to shipping container. Sales orders are split into multiple cartons based on the dimensions and weight of each product as well as the fill rate (target and maximum), weight restrictions, and dimensions of each box. Each carton is treated like a separate order in the system, all cartons must be finished before information is uploaded to the ERP. Facilitates simultaneous zone picking and picking to final carton Not Available Not Available 24

MODULE NAME COLLECT MANAGE FULFILL ORDER CONSOLIDATION: used to combine partial sales orders from a specific customer / ship_to address into a single order for processing in the warehouse. Items from different sales orders can be picked into the same carton, something that is not possible without consolidation REPACKAGING: Provides a formal warehouse process for building repackaging orders that are downloaded from ERP systems Note: Each ERP system supports this functionality slightly differently. Please work with your reseller to determine how this will work in your specific environment. Splitting and/or repacking a single product into different packsizes. Repackaging orders can be thought of as single-item kits, where the component is the same as the finished item, with a new pack size. Typically based on sales orders (actual or projected) for a specific packsize as determined by the ERP Where Kitting builds a finished item from multiple components, Repacking builds new packsizes for a single product i.e. create boxes from units and inner packs from master cartons Ability to manually enter repackaging orders where not supported in the ERP Not Available Not Available Not Available 25

MODULE NAME COLLECT MANAGE FULFILL MULTI-LOCATION: Allows a single Accellos One Warehouse installation to manage multiple physical locations with advanced warehouse operations. Can restrict handheld inventory visibility and access to a specific location Can restrict Web Dispatch order processing and reporting to a specific location Maintain distinctions based on location. Provides the formal site transfer functionality, whereby sales orders are picked in one location, sent via a transit location and received in a second location against a purchase order that is automatically created by the system based on what was picked. Process formal warehouse transfers between locations, either as Transfer Orders that are downloaded from the ERP or created through Accellos One Warehouse Transfer Order Entry tool Multi-Location reporting. Many standard reports restrict viewing to only the specified location, as assigned to the user. MULTI-COMPANY: Addresses the unique inventory and order management requirements of Third Party Logistics (3PL) or multi-company warehouses. Inventory is associated with a specific company Overlapping Item Numbers are handled seamlessly A prompt for company is added to all inventory-related handheld workflows Sales Orders and Purchase Orders are associated with a specific company Overlapping Sales Order and Purchase Order Numbers are handled seamlessly In a 3PL environment, users can be given Web Access to view their inventory and orders, with a restriction to only see their information Not Available Not Available 26
