Guidelines for EMS Graphical Interface The EMS Graphical Interface shall consist of a group of interactive color graphics that record, report, and respond to real-time commands and information pertaining to the Energy Management System (EMS). These graphics shall include but not be limited to, a Log-on portal, the School Energy Management Center Portal and additional sub-graphics displaying information on the Plant Operations, Energy Usage, the Chiller Plant, all AHUs, all VAV Boxes, all Exhaust Fans, Lights, Override Panel, and Schedules. NOTES/DEFINITIONS: 1. Each graphics page shall contain, in an appropriate location, the full name of the Facility that it serves. 2. All Facility spaces shall be labeled using the Florida Inventory of School House (F.I.S.H.) numbering scheme designated by M-DCPS. 3. All temperature readings shall be indicated in F. 4. All pop-up window and all equipment and components reflected on each graphic window shall be properly identified. 4. The sample graphics enclosed in these Guidelines are to be used for general references only. These graphics may not contain all the information required by these Guidelines. The Contractor shall ensure that the graphics packaged developed for the Work accurately reflects ALL the requirements stated in these Guidelines. Actual Demand in KW. 9. To-Date Projection in %. 10. A Happy Face icon reflecting a comparison of the Demand Budget vs. the Actual Demand. A happy face will mean that the Actual Demand is below the Demand Budget, and a sad face will mean that the Actual Demand exceeds the Demand Budget. The Happy Face icon shall also be a hot-link to the Energy Usage window. Place a note under the Happy Face icon stating Click here for Energy Usage. D. One (1) interactive button for each AHU and Chiller unit, each labeled with a unique tag comprising of the F.I.S.H room number and building name where the unit is located (e.g., AHU 1127 / Bldg. B - Media Ctr.; AHU 2013 / Bldg. C - 1 st Fl., or Chiller 1 / Chiller Plant). Each interactive button shall provide direct access to the AHU or Chiller graphics applicable to that equipment. 2. For each AHU and Chiller, provide a cluster of five (5) side-by-side pop-up displays reporting the following real-time information: a. Schedule Mode: Occupied / Unoccupied. b. Fan or Chiller Command ON / OFF. c. Fan or Chiller Status ON / OFF. d. Supply Air/Water Temperature. e. Return Air/Water Temperature. 3. For each AHU that contains VAV boxes in their system, provide one (1) interactive button labeled VAVs to access a Floor Plan Layout containing all VAV boxes serving that AHU. WINDOW No. 11 : OVERRIDE PANEL - Graphics shall display the following: A. The graphical interfaces for the Override Panel shall display the following information: 1. Labeled Zones. 2. One (1) labeled button per zone, to place zone in Override mode. 3. One (1) LED light per zone to indicate when the zone is in Override mode. 4. This window will provide a brief description on how to operate the Override Panel. On the bottom of the Override Panel Instructions page, provide a labeled button to Go Back to Override Panel. C. On the bottom half of the Override Panel graphics, provide a Facility Floor Plan layout showing each Building, each Zone and each AHU within in each Zone. WINDOW No. 12 : SCHEDULES - Graphics shall display the following: A. Graphics shall include individually labeled buttons to access for Schedules for each of the following zones: 1. Administration / Student services. 2. Food Services / Dining Room. 3. Auditorium. 4. Gymnasium. 5. Media Center. 6. Instructional Spaces. 7. Interior Corridor Lights. 8. Parking Lot Lights. 9. Exterior Lights (Comprising of all exterior lights except Parking Lot lights). B. Individually labeled buttons to access the following graphic windows: 1. School Energy Management Center Portal. 2. Plant Operations. C. Provide a minimum of one (1) Zone or Schedule per building, and no more than five (5) AHUs per Zone or Schedule. Prior to implementation of any Time of Day Schedules, the Contractor shall provide M-DCPS District Inspections, Operations, Energy Management DIOEM (Energy Management System Staff) a copy of all proposed schedules for their review and final acceptance.
