Welcome to British Airways American Express Corporate Card membership Designed specifically to meet the needs of the frequent business traveller, your new Card offers you a flexible and safe method of payment globally. This helpful pack will show you how to get the most out of your Card, including details about your Card benefits and the high level of support you will be offered when you need it most. On Business Points How they benefit your business As a member of the British Airways On Business corporate loyalty programme, your company earns valuable On Business Points 1 every time you and your colleagues fly with British Airways and pay using your British Airways American Express Corporate Card. On Business Points can be redeemed for reward flights 2, flight upgrades 2 and hotel accommodation. By using your British Airways American Express Corporate Card to pay for British Airways flights, you will earn your company 50% more 3 On Business Points, so the more you spend with British Airways the more your company can save on flights, upgrades and hotels. 1. On Business Points are earned on all British Airways fares including franchisees but excluding codeshare partners and oneworld alliances. 2. Reward flights and flight upgrades are subject to applicable taxes, fees, charges and surcharges. 3. Companies participating in the British Airways American Express Corporate Card programme receive 50% more On Business Points than those solely participating in the On Business programme. 3
Discover a world of benefits with the British Airways Executive Club Welcome to the British Airways Executive Club, where you can now discover a world of benefits, including an improved service when you travel featuring priority check-in (when you reach Bronze Tier) and lounge access (when you reach Silver Tier). You can now collect Avios, 4 which can be used on qualifying flights whenever you fly with British Airways and oneworld alliance partners to Club favorites like New York, Cape Town, Hong Kong and Barbados. You can also choose to spend your Avios on hotel accommodation and car rental. Collecting Avios is easy; you will earn 1 Avios 5 for virtually every 1 charged to your British Airways American Express Card, for all company expenses, which can be redeemed for reward flights and upgrades. To earn even more Avios, use your Card to spend with British Airways collection partners such as hotels and car hire. 6 4. Avios issued are subject to UK Executive Club terms and conditions. 5. Avios will not accrue in respect of any Cash Withdrawal, American Express Travellers Cheque purchases, Foreign Exchange Transactions or fees. Avios will accrue in respect of spending in each month provided your account is not more than 60 days overdue for payment. Avios will not accrue in respect of amounts which are subsequently recredited to your account because of refunds. 6. British Airways will let you know whether your application has been accepted. If successful you will receive an Executive Club welcome pack with full details of the programme. 4
The more you collect, the farther you fly We have created nine easy Zones, starting from your chosen departure airport. Each Zone has a simple fare based on the distance you fly, so the more you spend on your Card, the farther you can go. Find out more information on zones here. Reward Flight Saver We also offer Reward Flight Saver. This allows Executive Club Members to pay a flat fee on reward flights in Zones 1-3 for 27 pp return ( 34 for premium cabins) when you book using your Avios or Avios & Money. This can take you to places like Istanbul, Marrakech and Moscow. Business Travel Accident Insurance Provides you with insurance cover for up to: 225,000 travel accident Service when travelling on common carrier transportation on a business trip 62,500 when travelling on common carrier transportation on a personal trip if your spouse is travelling with you paid for on the British Airways American Express Corporate Card she/ he will also enjoy this benefit while on common carrier transportation, and 225,000 for up to 30 days while on a business trip when tickets are charged to your Card. 5
Travel Inconvenience Insurance 7 When you charge flights to your Card we offer Travel Inconvenience Insurance: up to 100 for delayed flights of more than four hours up to a further 100 if you miss your connection as a result up to 100 for delayed baggage for more than six hours on an outbound journey and up to 500 more is available if the baggage is delayed for more than 48 hours Baggage and Personal Possession Insurance 8 To give you extra security, you ll be covered for loss, theft or damage to your baggage whenever your business travel takes you overseas and the costs are charged to your British Airways American Express Corporate Card. This will cover up to 3,500 (single item limit 480 in excess of 95 at time of writing). That s in addition to the payment for delayed baggage available through out Travel Inconvenience Insurance. For your convenience, it operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year on +44 (0) 845 456 6524* Express Cash 24/7 Whenever you need extra money for taxis, gratuities or small emergencies, Express Cash 9 (with company enrolment) gives you 24-hour access to more than 550,000 automated teller machines (ATMs) worldwide. Emergency Card replacement Virtually wherever you are in the world, we re there to help you in an emergency. If you lose, mislay or have your Card stolen, just call one of our trained customer service representatives. You can rest assured that you will have no personal liability after reporting the loss or theft of your British Airways American Express Corporate Card, and a replacement Card can usually be issued to you by the end of the next business day. If you are in a remote area we can arrange to deliver your replacement Card to you. To request an Express Cash application form, please call the number on the back of your Card. Online services My Account the fast and easy way to manage your expenses My Account gives you the convenience and flexibility to manage your Card account, review charges before they appear on your statement and confirm payments online. All this with an enhanced secure online access, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. With My Account you can: view your statement check your balance check recent transactions and payments pay your bill by Debit Card update your contact details save paper with Online Statements 10
Online Statements Unless specified, you will receive your monthly statements online. You will need to set up your log in details to ensure you can access them, which you can do by registering at americanexpress.co.uk/paperless. All you need to do is create a User ID and Password, enter your Card number and provide security information. We will send you a monthly email reminder as soon as your latest statement is ready to view. 11
