Creating Attendance Incident Detail Report Attendance Incident Detail Report This report displays information about a specific employee s attendance events, patterns, and/or actions, which can include point assessment, perfect attendance credit, perfect attendance disqualification, and corrective action steps. You can generate a report for those employees whom you supervise and/or for whom you have been given visibility rights. The Supervisor/Manager will need to run an Attendance Incident Detail Report when an employee has requested information about their point balance or attendance history and/or the supervisor need to attaché this report to an attendance corrective action document. Supervisors are discouraged from generating reoccurring Attendance Incident Detail Reports to hand out to employees. The instructions below will guide you through the steps to create an Attendance Incident Detail Report. To generate an Attendance Incident Detail Report follow these steps. 1. After Log on, click on the name of the employee for whom you are running the report. The row will highlight green. 2. Click Reports. Page 1 of 7
3. By default the Select Report tab will be displayed. Click + to expand the Attendance Category. 4. Select Attendance Incident Detail. Page 2 of 7
5. By default the Show drop down box will display Previously Selected Employee(s), do not change. Click the Time Period drop down box arrow and select Range of Dates. 6. Enter the *Start Date: this should be 365 days previous to the current date. The *End Date: will default to the current date, do not change. Page 3 of 7
7. Click Ok. 8. By default the Select Report tab will display again. Select the Set Options tab. Page 4 of 7
9. Select Combined Events. 10. Click on the << Remove All button. 11. The selected items have now moved into the Available box the on left. Click on the Run Report button. Page 5 of 7
12. By default the Reports page will display and the report you just generated will be highlighted in green. Click on Refresh Status until the Status column changes to complete. This may take several minutes and require you to click the refresh button multiple times. 13. After the Status column updates to Complete, click on the View Report button. Page 6 of 7
Understanding the Report 14. Now the report will appear in a new window and look similar to the example above. Item A Time Period & Query B Executed & Printed For C Employee Name & EE number D Date E Event/Pattern/Action F Actual Amount & Change G Balance Type H Perfect Attendance Disqualification I Total Normal Points Explanation This area displays the criteria for time period and type of employee group the report will display. This area displays the report execution date and who created and/or initiated the report. This area displays the name of the employee and the employee number. Make sure the name on the report matches the individual for whom the report has been created. This area displays the dates of the individual attendance incidents or point balance reductions. This area displays the events, patterns, and/or actions recorded by Kronos. Each employee s attendance performance will vary some employees may have several pages associated with this section. In this case, this employee only has one page. Another event that could be displayed is the 365 day point expiration... 366 days from the original point assessment, the point value will be removed from the balance. Or a point balance reduction for 90 days of zero incidents. This area displays the actual time missed and the actual points assessed for each individual incident. If an employee qualifies for a point balance reduction or point expiration, it will display with a negative amount, thus deducting the credit from the balance. This area displays the accumulated normal point balance up to this line item or date line. This area displays whether or not the line item incident disqualifies the employee for the perfect attendance assessment credit. This column shows a check mark whenever there is an attendance infraction which disqualifies the employee from a point credit. Since the disqualifying marker was removed from displaying on the report, this column will not display the check mark. This area displays the employees total attendance point balance as of the date of the report. Page 7 of 7
