We are currently recruiting the following Senior Executive position: Vice President, Strategic Sourcing & Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) POSITION PROFILE Reporting to the President and CEO, the Vice President, Strategic Sourcing & Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) will be responsible for developing, implementing and leading our future state sourcing and procurement strategy. The CPO is accountable for our supply chain both provincially and nationally, with full oversight of the development and effective implementation of best-in-class procurement strategies and practices to maximize value for our Members. As CPO, you will instill a culture of collaboration and innovation cross functionally throughout the organization - and in our vendor relationships - to achieve value-based health care solutions that lead to better patient outcomes. As a member of our Executive Leadership Team, the CPO also responsible for managing the affairs of the Corporation as it relates to Supply Chain - Strategic, Operational and Fiscal. That includes organizing, programming and managing our Strategic Sourcing team and divisional activities to align with corporate priorities, achieve company objectives and meet or exceed KPI targets for customer service levels. Certifications such as those in Six Sigma, Operations or Inventory Management are an asset. Progressive senior leadership roles in best practice environments in relevant industries such as health care, suppliers to hospitals/health care institutions or business process outsourcers. Experience in supply chain services is key.
