LIQUEFIED NATURAL GAS- SUPPLY PLANTS ECONOMIC ENVIROMENT-SPARING TURNKEY ENERGY THROUGH ADVANCEMENT LNG Liquefied Natural Gas

What is LNG? 02 ECONOMIC AND ENVIRONMENT-SPARING LIQUEFIED NATURAL GAS (LNG) Liquid Natural Gas (LNG) is natural gas which is liquefied by cooling to about -162 C. Faced with rising prices for fossil fuels LNG is becoming increasingly attractive as an energy source. Whereas LNG has about 1/600 of the volume of natural gas in gaseous form, it can be economically transported on large ships across the oceans and later on trucks, railway or inland water vessels.. In practice LNG has in many advantages compared to the currently used fuels such as diesel, gasoline or heating oil: LNG + Economy CO2 emissions (-20% ) No particulate matters NOx emissions ( -80 % to -90%) Appropriate use in water protection areas Non-toxic No SOx emissions

03 No gas grid no problem From global funding sources LNG is delivered on tankers to large European import terminals, such as Zeebrugge in Belgium and Rotterdam in the Netherlands. This ensures a high level of security of supply, as LNG is neither dependent on suppliers nor pipes.

Where do LNG supply plants find their usage? 04 Self-sufficient energy supply without connection to the gas grid Wherever energy is required for power, heat and cooling supply or as fuel for vehicles, but no connection exists to a natural gas grid, LNG supply systems are versatile applicable: CHP Regasification Power- / heat- / refrigeration production via cogeneration Application e.g. on: Lime works Breweries Malthouses Big garden centers Data centers Feeding of regasified LNG into the supply grid Peak and base load coverage of residential and commercial areas NG filling stations Automotive Private and commercial LNG und LCNG filling stations : Passenger cars, transporters Buses Municipal vehicles Hauliers Construction sites LNG and CNG storage systems for trucks and trailers : Transport fleets Hauliers Port logistics LNG - Liquefied Natural Gas (independent of natural gas grid) CNG - Compressed Natural Gas from the gas grid / P ipeline (grid dependent) LCNG - Compressed Natural Gas, recovered from Liquefied Natural Gas (network dependent)

05 WE FULFILL YOUR INDIVIDUAL REQUIREMENTS When using our turnkey liquefied natural gas supply plants you benefit from our holistic service: We provide you a complete solution from one source, from planning and plant construction right up to commissioning! We take care of all necessary TUEV approvals, authorizations, permits and certifications. Avail yourself of our experience with cryogenic gases! Our long-standing collaboration with proven system suppliers guarantees that our services attain the highest levels of quality, entirely to the benefit of our customers. Our extensive competence in modular design allows mobile and hence flexible plant concepts to fulfill all customer requirements. Naturally, we can also provide fixed plants in accordance with your specifications. THE ADVANTAGES WITH ADK AT A GLANCE Self-sufficient natural gas supply Independent of the gas grid Turnkey from one source From planning to production and formal processing, right up to commissioning Modular Design Rapid and flexible production times without significant influence on your ongoing business operations High economic potential LNG has a higher energy density than heating oil, diesel and petrol No grid utilization fees Remuneration for electricity supplied under the Combined Heat and Power Act Electricity tax savings Credits for heating/cooling (grids / storage facilities) Feed-in remuneration

HOW IS LNG TRANSPORTED TO THE CUSTOMER? 06 FROM QATAR TO YOUR CHP OR FILLING STATION The natural gas is liquefied on site after production. The liquefied natural gas is transported to the LNG terminals in Europe in special tanker ships. After its arrival in Rotterdam or Zeebrugge, the LNG is either regasified and fed into the gas grid or it is loaded into commercial vehicles and transported directly to the customer. Funding source Liquefaction plant LNG Vaporizer Pipeline Grid independent natural gas supply Natural gas infeed in existing pipeline
