General Specifications DM10 Device Lifecycle Management OVERVIEW Device Lifecycle Management (DM10) is a cloud based asset information management support service consisted of portal and mobile application that provides a centralized device lifecycle management system. DM10 contributes to improve the effi ciency of plant maintenance work and quality of asset information management with registering, viewing, managing necessary device information for maintenance work. DM10 enables plant personnel (managers, staff of procurement, inventory, maintenance section, etc.) to manage device information accurately from procurement phase until disposal phase. Centralized device list with device s lifecycle status, quantity on dashboard view Collaboration with existing Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Compatibility check for replacement between failed device and spare device Mobile application that improve the ease and accuracy of on-site maintenance work Confi guration change detector that detects change in device parameters DM10 consists of the following functions: DM10 portal Mobile application Confi guration change detector Currently, plant maintenance managers have problem that it is hard to gather devices maintenance work records quickly and accurately. To solve this problem, DM10 provides functions to reduce manual work in each stage of devices lifecycle, to gather devices management information and activity with no additional work. CONCEPTUAL DIAGRAM Plant maintenance engineers can easily record maintenance actions by scanning QR Code attached on YOKOGAWA devices by DM10 mobile application. Then the maintenance records are automatically uploaded to DM10 portal. DM10 portal assists efficient maintenance planning by grasping the number of devices in different states (delivered, installed, removed etc.). Maintenance engineers can access device associated documents such as General Specifi cations, User s Manual, test certifi cate by DM10 mobile application when installation and exchange of devices. Also, it is possible to upload necessary fi le by device s tag basis to DM10 portal. As a result, plant maintenance managers will be able to see the latest devices management information without reporting from maintenance engineers. With Confi guration change detector, maintenance activity such as installation, removal, change of range, change of tag number of devices is monitored and detected automatically. When existing CMMS has already been used in plant, bulk data export of device s specifi cation from DM10 to CMMS is available. F01.ai Figure 1. DM10 PORTAL FUNCTIONS DM10 portal is a website that enables the plant managers and staff to manage the devices in a plant effectively. The managers can use the DM10 portal to grasp the device status and the operational histories through the lifecycle so that the managers can plan and execute procurement, maintenance, or warehousing activities in the plant efficiently. Views View mode Depending on the access rights that are granted to you, you can manage one or more plants in the following views on the DM10 portal: Single plant view The single plant view displays information about the devices of a specifi c plant. You can select the plant whose device details you want to view from the Plant view drop-down list. Multiple plant view The all plant view displays the overall information of all the plants. It enables you to monitor the status of all the multiple plants in a single view. This view is available with the multiple plant view contract and has access rights for managing multiple plants. Dashboard view When logging in to DM10 portal, Dashboard view appears. You can use the dashboard to view the statistical summary of devices depending on your access right. There are three pre-defi ned Dashboard views and one custom view. Users can select one from four Dashboard views below and customize the default dashboard based on preferences.
