Key Areas of Focus In the last few years, we have made progress in upgrading our understanding, strategies and approach to diversity and inclusion. We introduced diversity and inclusion training and accountability, publically disclosed gender and ethnicity data for our workforce for the first time, and signed the Equal Pay Pledge to affirm our commitment to close the gender wage gap. Our Signature Initiatives We will remain focused on ensuring that Visa is a diverse and inclusive environment where different perspectives are valued, and all of our employees feel comfortable coming to work every day to do their best. Alfred F. Kelly, Jr., CEO Visa was named to the Best Companies for Women in Technology by Anita Borg Institute and Best Companies for Diversity by Forbes Closing the Gender Gap Visa is a founding member of Employers for Pay Equity, a business tobusiness organization to leverage the group s collective expertise to eliminate leadership and pay gaps for women and ethnic minorities in the U.S. Women Leadership Training Program A leadership program for women developed in partnership with Berkeley s Haas School of Business targeted for the specific development of senior female leaders to continue their upward growth and trajectory within the organization. Ready to Return Our Ready to Return provides opportunities for people who want to return to the workforce after time away addressing family needs. To date, 150 participants have taken part in our program, which offered skills sessions, coaching and networking. Leadership Summits for Ethnically Diverse Talent This annual summit is designed to promote ethnically diverse talent by providing career advancement strategies and exposure to senior leaders. We also offer a dedicated program for Asian talent in our AP Region Employee Resource Groups We have over 25 Employee Resource Groups and Chapters around the world to help us further embed inclusion & celebrate our rich diversity. Encouraging Financial Inclusion Through our newly launched foundation, Visa has pledged 20 Million to support Women s World Banking aimed at supporting millions of women-led small and micro enterprises. Springboard Visa is a founding sponsor of the Springboard Initiative, a SF-based nonprofit that aims to place 100,000 high school students from underserved communities in Tech jobs by 2025. Participants receive a 9month training program before they are hired.
