By deriving standard methods when introducing RFID in supply chains HLI Laboratory is aiming at implementing the technique in open supply chains and thus support the use of RFID. Focal point in Hamburg HLI Laboratory forms a focal point for all parties involved in the deployment of RFID in supply chains. It addresses researchers, suppliers of RFID technology as well as users. Although located in Hamburg and supported by the state of Hamburg it is free to operate on national and international level. Hands-on approach The HLI-Laboratory works as a technology intermediary between the supplier of RFID technology and the user.
