This high dust resistance of the cemtec combined with a continuous mechanical and pneumatic cleaning of the probe, enabled manufacturers to conduct fl ue gas measurements, maintenance-free for intervals of several months for the fi rst time. ComTEC 7 comtec 6000 o 2 and co e analyzers COMTEC 6000 measures o 2 and Co e * Insitu! This enables redundant process control measurement with high accuracy in real time. The additional Co e sensor detects all unburned components (Co, H 2, C x H y ) for optimal combustion control - as a result fuel consumption and emissions are reduced. For process measurements it is important to measure Co e, not only Co: 10% after combustion, many fuels produce H 2, CH 4 etc. which cannot be detected by a Co measurement alone. 8 CEmTEC cemtec patented, self-cleaning, MainTenance-free kiln probe system CEMTEC is a robust self-cleaning analyzer system for the most demanding of applications; Continuous measurement in cement / lime kiln inlets or for other high temperature, high dust applications such as in the steel industry. The self-cleaning functions include CEMTEC s rotating probe tube, for removal of build-up to prevent sticking and to ensure that the probe is heated homogenously to prevent thermal deformation.
