POTENTIAL HEALTH EFFECTS EYES: May cause irritation, experienced as mild discomfort and seen as a light excess redness of the eye(s). SKIN: Brief contact may cause slight irritation. Prolonged contact as with clothing wetted with material, may cause more severe irritation and discomfort, seen as local redness and swelling. INGESTION: May cause nausea, vomiting, and gastrointestinal irritation. INHALATION: Vapors or mists in excess of permissible concentrations, or in unusually high concentrations generated from spraying, heating the material or as from exposure in poorly ventilated areas or confined spaces, may cause irritation of the nose and throat, headache, nausea and drowsiness. MEDICAL CONDITIONS AGGRAVATED: There is no evidence that this product aggravates any existing medical conditions. 3. FIRST AID MEASURES INGESTION: If victim is conscious, give several glasses of water and keep the airway clean. Get medical attention. INHALATION: Move person to fresh air. If breathing is stopped or is labored, give assisted respiration (e.g. mouthto-mouth). Supplemental oxygen may be indicated. Seek medical advice if necessary. SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF OVEREXPOSURE CHRONIC EFFECTS: There are no known chronic effects associated with this material. COMMENTS: If victims of chemical over-exposure are taken for medical attention, give a copy of the label or this MSDS to the physician/health care professional. 5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES EXTINGUISHING MEDIA: Water spray, carbon dioxide, dry chemical or appropriate foam. FIRE FIGHTING PROCEDURES: Water or foam may cause frothing, which can be violent and possibly endanger the life of the firefighter. Water may be used to keep fire-exposed containers cool until the fire is out. 6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES GENERAL PROCEDURES: Avoid cotact with eyes and avoid breathing vapors. Transfer product to suitable, labeled containers for disposal at an approved facility. Absorb liquid spillage with inert materials such a sand, and wash the spill area with water and detergents.

Page 3 of 5 SPECIAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT: Appropriate respiratory protection and protective clothing. Provide adequate ventlation during clean-up. 7. HANDLING AND STORAGE HANDLING: Minimum feasible handling temperatures should be maintained. STORAGE: Store in a cool, well ventilated place away from incompatible materials. Keep containers tightly closed when not in use. Protect containers from damage. Periods of exposure to high temperatures should be minimized and water contamination should be avoided. 8. EXPOSURE CONTROLS / PERSONAL PROTECTION ENGINEERING CONTROLS: General (mechanical) room ventilation is expected to be satisfactory where this product is stored and handled and in closed equipment. Special local ventilation is needed at points where vapors can be expected to escape into the workplace air. PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT SKIN: Rubber, chemical resistant gloves. RESPIRATORY: Not normally needed in well ventilated areas. If vapor concentration is high, use NIOSH/MSHA approved respiratory protection device. WORK HYGIENIC PRACTICES: Good personal hygiene practices should be used. Wash after any contact, before eating, and at the end of the work period. 9. DISPOSAL CONSIDERATIONS DISPOSAL METHOD: Dispose of this material, contaminated absorbent material and other contaminated materials in an approved waste disposal facility, according to all applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations.
