Duty 1 General Summary: Percentage: 75 Serve as the recognized resource for establishing, implementing and reviewing internal TIA business processes, procedures and standards as well as the agency's lead for employee engagement. Work with the Director of Operations to create and implement project plan(s) for on-going, complex projects. Provide support to the Director of Operations and serves as a liaison between operational units and Director Provide support to all of the internal facing operations units of the Talent Investment Agency, which includes communications, legislative affairs, and information technology. Proposes, develops and prepares operational manuals and supporting instructions for TIA operations. The function of the work area is to provide operational services to staff of the Talent Investment Agency. The Talent Investment Agency manages state and federal programs to provide education, training and counseling to Michigan workers, job seekers and employers. This position provides direct support to targeted populations and also assures that state and federal reporting, fiscal and performance requirements are met. Maintaining and improving relationships with state and federal departments and agencies assures that services and funding are used efficiently and appropriately to support TIA s talent development activities. 26. What are the minimum education and experience qualifications needed to perform the essential functions of this position. EDUCATIO: Possession of a bachelor s degree in any major. EXPERIECE: Departmental Analyst 12 Three years of professional experience, including one year of experience equivalent to the experienced (P11) level in state service. KOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AD ABILITIES: 1. Knowledge of the principles and practices of research and analysis. 2. Knowledge of project management principles and application. 3.
