Discount Programs Discount programs remain the same with MCE service, including PG&E employee discounts. CARE, FERA, and Medical Baseline Allowance are provided in full to MCE customers; no need to reapply.

New Community Enrollment Timeline JAN FEB MAR APR MAY Notice 1 mailed Community meetings and outreach; MCE-hosted informational meetings Notice 2 mailed Notice 3 mailed MCE service starts on the first day of your April billing cycle Notice 4 mailed First bills with MCE charges mailed Customers can opt up or opt out at any time. Opt outs received after 60 days of service will see a $5 residential ($25 commercial) fee and be prevented from returning to MCE for 1 year by PG&E.
