Nepa, a country with 27 miion popuation having iteracy rate of 39.6 percent divided into 5 Deveopment regions, 14 Zones and 75 districts is a country having huge variance in atitude and topography, diversity of weather and cimate. The country experiences tropica, mesotherma, microtherma, taiga and tundra type of cimate. The ecoogy of the country is divided in to three ecoogica regions namey Mountain, Hi and Tarai. Nepa is one of the east deveoped country in South Asia. We have 46 domestic airports and one internationa Airport, fifteen exit entry points in south of the country adjoins the Indian border for internationa trade via Land Sea route through the West Banga Ports of India. The importance of internationa tread has significanty increased due to goba economic iberaization. Efficient and fast movement of goods internationay has become the need of the day. Therefore, the importance of freight forwarders in faciitating smooth fow of goods internationay cannot be minimized. Under such circumstances, the soidarity of the freight forwarders is a must. With this objective in mind, Nepa Freight forwarder Association was estabished in 1998 as a Nationa Organization of Freight Forwarders. Nepa Freight Forwarders Association (NEFFA) caters information, gives consutation, produce ports through workshop, seminars, interaction, training etc. NEFFA is a non-poitica, non-profit making, non-governmenta association of Nepa. The number of member has been increasing since its estabishment. NEFFA S mission is to faciitate internationa trade by deivering goods at the destination in an efficient and fast manner. Activities:- Freight Forwarding and Muti-Moda transport activities are increasing everyday and our members are offering variety of ogistics services at par with the internationa norms. Nepa being Land ocked has to depend on the internationa shipping ines, Nepa having ony one Nationa Airines aso has to work with Internationa Airines for its internationa Trade. NEFFA members so far have been working smoothy in exceeding the customer's expectation. Nepa Freight Forwarders Association (NEFFA) has become instrumenta in bridging the reations with the concerned authorities of Nepa Government and Internationay accepted organizations for providing necessary services to the cients of our member. NEFFA aso keeps very cordia reation with Government of Nepa i.e, Nepa Chamber of Commerce, Nationa Panning Commission, Nepa Inter- Moda Transport Deveopment Board, Nepa Rastra Bank, Civi Aviation Authority of Nepa, Security, other export import reated Associations & biatera agencies. Nepa has biatera trade agreements with its neighbor and member of South Asia Association of Regiona Conference (SAARC) apart form other nations of Asia pacific. NEFFA has been organizing workshops, training for the staffs of its member from time to time. NEFFA has pans to have speciaized course training in freight forwarders and air cargo handing. We have had trainers from abroad and India. NEFFA now has been abe to train its own members in training activities. We have five internationay recognized trainers certified by the WTO/UNCTAD/ITC of Geneva, Switzerand.

Nepa being a and ocked country, it's popuation is predominanty engaged in agricuture. Industria activities are in Manufacturing, Energy bases Industries, Agro and forest based industries, Minera industry, tourism, Construction and Service industry ony. Services:- The foowing services are provided by NEFFA - To represent the freight forwarding community in nationa and internationa forums; - To provide expert services to freight forwards; - To coordinate and report the activities of NEFFA to concerned chapters, agencies and institutions; - To estabish reationship with simiar nationa and internationa associations; - To iaise with government and pubic sectors - To sette dispute and reaize credit; - To provide airport and custom agent service. - To coect and pubicize data, statistics and news about freight forwarding industry. - To pubish magazines, books and book etters etc about freight forwarding industry. - To pubish NEFFA Newsetter, the officia newsetter of NEFFA. - Provide its expertise to Government of Nepa on its poicy and Acts reated to Transport and Internationa Business.
