SECTION 11. TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION Only acute studies have been performed on this product as formulated. The non-acute information pertains to the technical-grade active ingredient, thiacloprid. Acute Oral Toxicity Acute Dermal Toxicity Acute Inhalation Toxicity rat: LD50: > 300 - < 500 mg/kg rat: LD50: > 4,000 mg/kg female rat: LC50: > 1.0 - < 2.2 mg/l Exposure time: 4 h Determined in the form of liquid aerosol. female rat: LC50: > 4.0 - < 8.8 mg/l Exposure time: 1 h Determined in the form of liquid aerosol. Extrapolated from the 4 hr LC50. male rat: LC50: > 2.2 mg/l Exposure time: 4 h Determined in the form of liquid aerosol. male rat: LC50: > 8.8 mg/l Exposure time: 1 h Determined in the form of liquid aerosol. Extrapolated from the 4 hr LC50. Skin Irritation Eye Irritation Sensitization Chronic Toxicity rabbit: No skin irritation. rabbit: No eye irritation. guinea pig: sensitizing Thiacloprid caused secondary effects due to significant liver enzyme induction in the liver, thyroid, adrenals, uterus and/or ovaries in chronic studies in rats, mice and dogs. Assessment Carcinogenicity Thiacloprid demonstrated evidence of oncogenicity inlifetime feeding studies in rats (thyroid and uterus) and mice (ovary). These effects, however, were observed only at high doses that also significantly induced hepatic enzyme activity. At lower doses, which did not affect hepatic enzymes, there was no evidence of oncogenicity. ACGIH NTP IARC Page 5 of 8

OSHA Reproductive & Developmental Toxicity REPRODUCTION: Thiacloprid is not considered a primary reproductive toxicant in rats. Reproductive effects were observed but were considered secondary to maternal toxicity. DEVELOPMENTAL TOXICITY: Thiacloprid is not considered a primary developmental toxicant in rats and rabbits. Developmental effects were observed at doses that caused maternal toxicity. Neurotoxicity Mutagenicity Thiacloprid was not a neurotoxicant in acute, subchronic and developmental neurotoxicity screening studies in rats. Thiacloprid was not mutagenic or genotoxic in a battery of in vitro and in vivo tests. SECTION 12.
