With his background in commercial litigation he also advises companies, directors, shareholders and senior employees on employment related disputes including shareholder disputes, bonus claims, wrongful dismissal and restrictive covenant litigation. Mark has been with the firm since 1988. Angela specialises in HR advice, employment disputes, unfair dismissal, discipline and grievances, discrimination, TUPE & outsourcing, and obtaining/defending injunctions. She also regularly defends complex, high value cases at the Employment Tribunal. Angela often provides training and seminars for clients and HR specialists and frequently speaks to the media. She has appeared on BBC Breakfast, BBC News, Sky News, Radio 4 and Radio 5. She supports businesses starting up in the Thames Valley through Pitmans Kickstart, regularly working with the Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce and the DiT. Jonathan s specialisms include contracts and policies, recruitment, redundancies, TUPE, data protection and restrictive covenant breaches. He is an accredited mediator and also advocates at the Employment Tribunal. Jonathan also advises on business immigration and licensing. With 15 years experience working with unions including GMB, Unite and Unison, Jonathan has a specialist understanding of unionised workplaces. Jonathan advises many clients in the hospitality sector and heads Pitmans hospitality team. 6
