How to install Design Click Vinyl as quick as a flash! Cutting Start by cutting the end piece of the first row. Place the panel on a level surface with the front facing upward. Score on the front at a 90 angle with a cutter. Press down uniformly during this process. Bend the panel back and forth a few times until it separates. The first row Place the first panel on the floor with the tongue facing toward the wall and lay all additional panels of the row horizontally next to it. The head connections must fit perfectly. If necessary, lock them together with some pressure or a rubber mallet. Starting with the second row The individual panels are installed after horizontal connection to form a row (see 2.). The row to be installed is inserted into the already installed row at an angle of 30 degrees and then lowered against the previous row with slight pressure. Frequently asked questions about Design Click Vinyl Is Design Click Vinyl non-hazardous? Yes, Design Click Vinyl is non-hazardous. It is a DIBt emissions-tested construction product and meets all requirements for CE-marking. It contains extremely low concentrations of plasticisers. The value is at the lower detection limit. Because PVC is a very hard plastic, it cannot be processed without the addition of plasticizers. For this reason, every product made of PVC including medical products contains plasticisers. Can Design Click Vinyl be installed in the bathroom? Yes, Design Click Vinyl is suitable for use in rooms with increased moisture. However, standing water should be removed as quickly as possible. In addition, the expansion joint at the bathtub/toilet/washbasin should be sealed with silicone, but only in spots, not the entire expansion joint. On what substrates can Design Click Vinyl be installed? Design Click Vinyl can be installed on all hard floors and other substrates, which are dry, level, free of cracks, resistant to tension and pressure, clean, stable, and permanently connected to the substrate. Textile substrates must be removed for hygiene reasons (risk of mould formation) and for stability reasons. Can Design Click Vinyl be used on an underfloor heating system? Yes, Design Click Vinyl can be installed on a warm water underfloor heating system if one ensures that the temperature at the surface does not exceed 27 C for extended periods. For more on this, see the standards DIN EN 1264 and DIN 4725 and the heating protocol. The screed must be prepared in accordance with DIN 18353. How can Design Click Vinyl be cleaned? Dry cleaning with a broom, dust mop, or vacuum cleaner is usually sufficient. During wet cleaning, do not use too much water, as remaining moisture which penetrates the joints and edges, can damage many substrates, such as linoleum, parquet, or wood. A damp mop or scrubber is sufficient for cleaning. Is Design Click Vinyl suitable for outdoor use? No, Design Click Vinyl was specially developed for indoor use and should not be used outdoors. 16
