INTRODUCTION EXCELLENCE YEARS & BEYOND SH Food Processing Pvt. Ltd., A collaboration between Srinivasa Farms & Malaxmi Group, is setting up a Mega Food Park (MFP) in Prakasam, Andhra Pradesh. This is India s first MFP with a sharp focus on Chicken and Eggs processing. Srinivasa Farms is a leading name in the poultry and food processing industry, while Malaxmi Group s core competencies lie in energy, agribusiness, property development and infrastructure. SH Food Processing Pvt. Ltd. is approved and supported by Andhra Pradesh Food Processing Society (APFPS) under the Mega Food Park Scheme, Government of Andhra Pradesh (GoAP). The Mega Food Park will be established as a hub-andspoke model, with one Central Processing Centre (CPC), three Primary Processing Centres (PPC) and several Collection Centres (). The CPC is being set up at Mustla Gangavaram, near Markapur in Prakasam. The PPC locations are proposed to be set up in Krishna, Kurnool & West Godavari s.

CROP MFP CONCEPT INDIVIDUAL FARMERS SELF HELP GROUPS PPC PPC Your Food Processing Units + CPC / MEGA FOOD PARK Plug & Play model Our Facilities Incentives for setting up an individual unit at our MFP: Capital subsidy to an extent of 25% of project cost up to a maximum of ` 5 Crores (35% under KISAN SAMPADA YOJANA) for setting up Units belonging to Food Processing Sectors (fruits & vegetables, milk/ meat / poultry, cereal / other consumer food products, rice / flour/ pulses / oil milling and such other agri - horti sectors including food flavours, colours, oleoresins, spices, coconuts, mushrooms, wines and hops). Capital subsidy of 35% for setting up of cold chain for agriculture / horticulture / dairy / Meat Produce, up to a maximum of ` 5 Crores. Interest Subvention @ 7%, subject to a maximum of ` 2 Crore per project will be paid on the term loan taken for fixed capital investment, for a period of 5 years from the date of commercial production of the project. Reimbursement of power consumption charges @ ` 1.50 per unit for 5 years. Reimbursement of Non-Agriculture Land Assessment (NALA) tax for the produce purchased directly from farmers. Reimbursement of 100% stamp duty, Transfer duty. SGST reimbursement for Micro & Small Enterprises (100%), Medium Industries (75%) & Large Industry Units (50%) for 5-7 years. Grant in aid of 50% of project cost, subject to a maximum of ` 5 Crores for setting up NABL approved labs. FARMER GROUPS PPC Reimbursement of 50% of certifications such as HAP, GMP, ISO 9000, ISO 22000, GLP and TQM for the food processing units up to a limit of ` 5 lakhs per unit. 10.50% subsidy for the purchase of reefer vehicles for food processing units up to a maximum limit of ` 10 lakhs. PPC CPC Collection Centre Primary Processing Centre Core Processing Centre 30% of road transport charges till ICD/ Port for export of perishable goods by food processing units with a ceiling of ` 5 Lakh per annum per unit for a period 3 years from date of commercial production. Skill development initiative: 50% of cost involved in skill upgradation and training local manpower limited to ` 5000 per person. Research and Development: For research work approved by government undertaken by reputed research institutions up to 50% of the cost with a ceiling of ` 25 lakhs.
