Features Purchasing This feature manages the purchase of raw materials for the production of garments. It controls and manages the amounts of raw materials required and amounts received. Sampling / Product Management. The creation of a product such as a trouser or a shirt is done with the help of this feature. Once the design is finalized, the system calculates and manages requirements such as number of cut pieces, accessories like buttons, zippers etc. for the production. Even extra works such as embroidery is planned and an image of the design can also be added.
Cutting Management Once the raw materials are received, the orders are checked before issuing the required types and quantities of materials to manufacturer the end product. The system calculates the amount of material needed according to the number of cut pieces required. Ordering Management Order sheets are generated and sent to the production manager. Once approved by the production manager, the orders are actually processed. E.g. For an order of 1000 shirts, the type of material, color, accessories are indicated.
Sub- Contracting / Outsourcing Management. Manages a database of sub-contractors which can indicate their credibility. Information as follows can be generated; credit limit, payment history, number of contracts given to particular sub-contractors, amount of cut pieces still remaining with the subcontractor, selection of sub-contractors according to credit terms, cut pieces given out with accessories and which types etc. Return Material management. The return of finished garments or stitched garments are managed using this feature. It involves a checking process identification according to job process given. It has damage management during the checking process. It indicates the return of garments to subcontractor when it is not up to standard. Reports can be generated such as; number of contracts given to particular sub-contractors, returned garment amounts, number of damaged garments etc.
Iron packing / Finished Goods Management. This feature records the number of pieces received and the amount given forward. Reports on this information can also be generated. Cost Calculation Cost calculations are automatically generated through the system according to the consumption of the raw materials. Item costs and at which price to sell can directly be calculated according to the margin given.
