Press Releases 1. Visit f4cp.com, create an individual log-in and access your account. 2. Select and download the press release of interest. 3. Add information specific to your practice or State Association in the appropriate sections: Media Contact, Headline, Dateline, Lede, Quote, Boilerplate. 4. Email the release to your local paper s health editor. a. Follow-up and offer yourself as an expert for additional commentary as applicable. 5. Receive the e-blast in your inbox.* Look for the subject line: Share F4CP Resources on YOUR Social Platforms 2. Share the post on Facebook the Accelerator email will walk you through how to share. a. Monitor the likes, shares and reach 3. Share the post on Twitter the Accelerator email will walk you through how to share. a. Monitor the favorites, retweets and impressions *If you do not handle the social media accounts, please send the appropriate contact to alexis@f4cp.com and the social media manager of your practice/state Association will be added to the Accelerator distribution list.
Best Times to Post on Social Media Timing is everything on social media, which is why we are also providing you with the best timeframes to share your content with target audiences: The best time to post on Twitter is at 3:00 p.m. Monday to Friday. The best time to post on Facebook is between 12:00 pm and 3:00 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. And on Saturday and Sunday between 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. The best time to post to Instagram is from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday to Friday. Consider timezone differences, as well. If your followers are located in the EST and you are in PST timezone, this will impact your results. Utilize the above timeframes as a starting point to test and measure what works best for your organization.

Advertisements 1. Contact your local paper s advertising department for specifications on size, color, pricing, deadlines, etc. 2. Visit f4cp.com/media-center/#print or the members-only advertisement section of the website and choose an F4CP ad. 3. Contact alexis@f4cp.com with your State Association or clinic information name, address, telephone, logo and website the ad desired and the paper s specifications. 4. The Foundation will provide one complimentary ad sizing and personalizing. You will be responsible for costs of any additional ads. *All advertisements are available as 18x24 posters. Add logo and contact information specific to your practice or State Association underneath the Advertorial/Social Syndication body copy. 4. Email the advertorial or social syndication to your local paper s health editor a. Follow-up and offer yourself as an expert for additional commentary as applicable. 5. Public Service Announcements Television 1. Select and download the TV PSA of interest from the membersonly section of the website. 2. Add your clinic s information at the close of the PSA (doctors are responsible for edits and all changes need be approved by F4CP) 3. Email or mail the spot to the media outlet, requesting it is placed into their rotation as a PSA *TV PSAs can also be used to stream in-office in the waiting room. Radio 1. Select and download the radio PSA of interest from the membersonly section of the website. 2. Add your clinic s information at the close of the PSA (doctors are responsible for edits and all changes need be approved by F4CP) 3. Email or mail the spot to the media outlet, requesting it is placed into their rotation as a PSA
White Papers 1. Download white papers from the public website or the members-only section of the F4CP site. 2. Utilize the white paper of your choice to meet with local legislators on specific topics. 3. White papers also serve as excellent educational tools when speaking with your patients. Do not hand your patient a white paper, but rather pull facts from it to inform your target audiences on relevant information.
