Resilience for everyone The Resilience Engine is a leader in human resilience. Founded on ten years of research, The Resilience Engine team believe in making the benefits of resilience accessible to everyone.
Personal and Organisational Resilience has become a key factor in driving improved organisational performance, engagement and wellbeing. There is a growing tension between increased performance vs the increase in stress. If your employees are stressed, they won t learn well and therefore can t achieve your organisations goals and the organisation cannot perform beyond mediocrity. If your managers and leadership team are stressed, they won t be as successful as they could be in any walk of life, work or home and their health will be affected adversely. Stress negates great performance Stress negates health Stress kills innovation and our ability to embrace change Resilience isn t only about coping or bounceback, it s about being adaptable, resourceful and energised. Being resilient means having perspective, an ability to focus, clarity of the why of things, higher creativity and an increase in capacity. All leading to higher performance and greater wellbeing.
All About Outcomes Our extensive resilience research shows consistently that resilience is in fact the capacity for change. The three main outcomes of resilience are: Adaptability Sustained performance Wellbeing Our toolkits, step by step guides and masterclasses, crafted through our work with thousands of people and with our partners, help individuals and teams extend resilience to achieve sustainable performance, engagement and wellbeing. The outcomes of resilience development for any individual, team or organisation will depend on the start point; resilience is a practice, and develops and extends step by step. The Resilience Engine accounts for this start point explicitly in all our services through selfevaluations and check-ins. Our research also demonstrates that organisational resilience relies on interconnectedness between resilience assets. These can be: People Teams Processes Purpose Values The Resilience Engine can help your organisation choose the right steps depending on how these assets map in your context.
Resilience Engine Research Models The Resilience Dynamic is our most popular model, and is a map of different resilience states. Simple but deep, it can be used as a guide for evaluating and building the capacity for change. We use a method for developing and sustaining personal resilience, based on The Resilience Engine : Resilience Engine Services Our research and insight have led us to develop a scaled offering that suits the needs of employees, people managers and leadership teams.

WHY the Resilience Engine We are creating research findings on what resilience is, the models of how to build it, and most importantly, how to make it real and accessible for people. We bring the research to life in a real and relevant way. The Resilience Engine s goal now is to make the research accessible to everyone. We have created the idea of the Resilience House, where there are different paths in and where each room and floor offers different aspects of resilience support. For someone to really develop their own resilience fully, they need to know their whole Resilience House. Where individuals start out from makes a difference. If someone is not coping so well, they need to increase their own energies and sense of being. If someone is already a high performer, they need to align all of their Resilience Engine. The Resilience Engine helps people navigate and indeed create their own Resilience House in their own way, matching what they need. Firstly I now know what it means so I can measure it. I now ensure I recognise the essentials of resilience and ensure I acknowledge them and consider them when I plan my life. Having a structure, language and way of managing my own resilience has been a tremendous step forward for me. In turn this adds to my ways of viewing or considering where others may be with their own resilience. It has changed my view of the world and what I do and what I say. This can only be considered as a critical change of perspective. I now have an understanding of what resilience is, what can sustain it and why sustained resilience can positively impact on relationships, energy and perspective.
