MODERN CLASSROOMS IN A Historic Setting The James W. Burns Executive Education Centre is located a short distance from Portage and Main in the heart of downtown Winnipeg. We take pride in the tradition and history of our facilities. Originally built as the new head office for the Great-West Life Assurance Company, the building officially opened in 1911. In 1985, this architectural gem was designated a provincial heritage site. Our renovations to the historic second floor revitalized the space and infused our facilities with technology essential to fostering innovative discussion and learning. We offer the latest digital resources in comfortable, modern classrooms and breakout rooms, a boardroom, and spacious reception area.
