77 INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING INSTRUCTION Milaha has been appointed Freight Forwarding and On Site Handling Contractor of International Hunting & Falcon Exhibhition 2017. In conjunction with our local partners, Milaha, we have obtained approval from the relevant authorities for the temporary admission of exhibition materials / Falcons into Qatar, for this event. INTRODUCTION These instructions will assist you in preparing for the correct and timely dispatch of your exhibits to Doha. Original Commercial invoices attested by Chamber of Commerce of shipment originated country b). Copies of Packing list c). Original and 1 copy Certificate of Origin, attested by Chamber of Commerce of shipment originated country d). Original Bills of Lading e). Original and 1 copy of Insurance ( if insured ) N.B. COPIES OF THE ABOVE DOCUMENTS MUST BE SENT BY EMAIL TO MILAHA, MINIMUM 7 DAYS PRIOR TO SEAFREIGHT ARRIVAL OR 3 DAYS PRIOR TO AIRFREIGHT ARRIVAL OF SHIPMENTS IN QATAR COMMERCIAL INVOICE AND CERTIFICATE OF ORIGIN The entries on the invoices must be in English language and in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Qatar Customs Authorities. The invoices must bear the following information: Number of packages, itemized description of Goods, itemized Serial Number, itemized Harmonised Code,Itemised Value,Total CIF value indicating currency and the Manufacture s Name and Country of Origin. Invoices MUST be on exhibitor s original letterhead
For temporary importation of items /falcons which do not bear a serial number, customs will require photographs, in order to identify the items on re export. Items for free distribution, i.e literature, promotional gifts, etc, must be given a realistic CIF value. The wording No Commercial Value will not be accepted by Qatar Customs. Failure to comply with documentation requirements, or any inaccuracies, may result in delays in customs clearance, fines, penalties, storage and or other additional costs, which will be passed on, together with an advancement fee. N.B.All shipments require a Certificate of Origin, certified by local authorities only, in the case of temporary import. Any shipments not accompanied by a certificate of origin cannot be customs cleared and will be return to origin. PACKING LIST The packing list must be give details of the number of packages, weight and measurement of each individual package, and include the shipping mark of the goods. If you prefer, the packing list may be incorporated into the body of your commercial invoice. INSURANCE As our tariff is computed on the basis of volume or weight and has no correlation with the value of exhibits, it follows that the cost of insurance cover is not included in our charges. It is the responsibility of each exhibitor to arrange Marine ( Transport ) Insurance covering transport to the exhibition, during the exhibition, and the return of the exhibits to domicile, including the period the exhibits are handled by us, and also ensure that transport insurance is arranged for exhibits sold locally. TERMS OF PAYMENT Milaha Integrated Maritime & logistics WLL has a worldwide network of specialist agents, who are able to arrange comprehensive freight services from your premised to booth. Should you utilize the services of our nominated agent, all freight, clearance and handling charges will be invoiced by them and their payment terms will apply. Should you arrange your own shipment, or nominate your own freight forwarding agent, the following payment terms will apply: Inbound : Upon presentation of invoice, prior to delivery to stand Outbound : Upon presentation of invoice, prior to re export All payments must be made without any deduction or deferment on account of any claim, counterclaim or offset. Payment can be made by Telegraphic Transfer to our account details on our invoice. TERMS & CONDITIONS All business is transacted only in accordance with our Standard Trading Conditions. Use of Milaha and our partner s service be it partly or in full and any requirement for additional services at any time before, during or after the exhibition, implies acknowledgment and acceptance of the foregoing.
