The division works towards meeting all seating requirements of any automotive company including Seating Systems, Head Rest Assemblies, Arm Rest Assemblies, Seat Trims (Covers), Injection Molded Door Trims etc. (i) Identification of project and project proponent. (iii) Need for the project and its importance to country and /or region The project is proposed to manufacture polyurethane foam for Car Seats in the existing production plant. The technology is totally proven and safe in all aspects. At present the company is importing the PU foam so as to manufacture Pre Feasibility Report 4

the car seats, but in order to meet the growing market demand; the company is proposed to manufacture the polyurethane foam in the existing production plant. The project will in return support the growth of the Business. (iv) Demand supply gap The company wishes to capture this opportunity by manufacturing the PU Foam in their existing premises to be able to service the growing market demand. M/s. Krishna Maruti Ltd. as a part of Krishna Group of industries has an experience of managing of business, this being an extension is an indication that the demand is there for the product and this is just an effort to accomplish the supply gap and reap the profits. (v) Imports vs. Indigenous production The products which will be manufactured in said premises will be of international standards, which will have acceptability in the export as well as domestic markets. (vi) Export possibility Krishna group of industries has its business spread across India. For the time being the unit has not planned to export. Project (i) Type of the project: The proposed production will be carried out in the existing production plant of M/s. Krishna Maruti Ltd. Based on the market scenario, company proposes to manufacture PU Foam required for the making car seat on their own in their existing production plant. Pre Feasibility Report 5

(ii) Location of project: The location of the project is at Plot No.13, SMG JV Park, Block No.:334, 335, Vill : Hansalpur, Tal.: Mandal, Dist.: Ahmedabad. The geographical information of the proposed project is as given below: Latitude: 23 30'05.05"N and Longitude: 72 00'41.90"E (iii) Details of alternative site considered: No alternative site was considered. Salient features of selected site: Some of the factors which were considered while finalizing the location are: The proposed production will be carried out in the existing building which is location in Industrial Estate. Facility for electricity, water, drainage, telecommunication, etc. The project site is approx. 0.70 km from State Highway-19. Availability of road, rail, airport for easy transportation. Availability if requisite skilled, semi-skilled and unskilled labor from local area. (iv) Size or magnitude of project: Polyurethane Foam for car seats 380 MT/Month (v) Project description with process details Please refer Annexure-5 of Form-1 (vi) Raw material requirement The details of raw materials required for the proposed products is mention in Annexure- 4 of Form-1, please refer the same. (vii) Raw Material sources: The company will be purchase raw materials from local and / or import depends on availability and market value. (viii) Mode of transportation of raw material and products: The required raw material for the manufacturing of proposed products would be transported by either sea or road. In case of products, it would be transported by road/air-ways and also the same will be depending upon the availability / comfort ability. (x) Quantity of waste to be generated along with its mode of disposal: Please refer Annexure-7 of Form-1 for the type, quantity and mode of disposal of solid / hazardous wastes generated from the proposed unit. 4. Site Analysis Point (i) Connectivity The proposed plant is to be set up within notified industrial (ii) Land pattern use (iii) Land ownership (iv) Existing infrastructure area. Existing roads and rails will be used for the proposed project. No new roads or rails are envisaged outside the boundary of the plant. 80 KM from Ahmedabad Airport The proposed plant will be set up in the already existing building located in the industrial estate. Owned by Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. and given on lease to Krishna Maruti Ltd. Plot Area: 15,750 sq. m Utilities: Power requirement for the proposed production will be met by GEB/UGVCL. o Water: Narmada Canal Water through SMG water supply system. o Fuel: LDO/HSD will be used as a fuel in Hot Water Generator o Power: GEB/DGVCL. Transport: o Rail: The nearest broad gauge rail head is Bechraji. o Road: Nearest State highway is SH-19 which is approx. 0.68 KM in south direction o Air: The nearest domestic airport is available at Ahmedabad (80 km). Point (viii) Industrial waste management Water Pollution : 1. The quantity of Domestic waste water generated will be discharged to soakpit/septic tank. 2. The effluent generated from cooling will have low TDS, COD-BOD hence it will be used for gardening purpose within the premises. 3. The waste water generated from Force Duct ventilation (Humidifier) will be treated with the help of electrical energy. Air Pollution : NOT APPLICABLE (ix) Power requirement & supply/source Solid & Hazardous waste: o The quantity of used oil generated will be reused within the premises or will be sold to MoEF registered recyclers. Discarded Container/barrels will be sent back to suppliers for reuse purpose or will be sold to the GPCB authorized recyclers. o Power will be sourced from GEB/UGVCL 7. Rehabilitation and Resettle (R& R) Plan Not applicable as the proposed production is to be carried out in the existing plant premises located in the industrial notified area. 8.
