All customers who have not established credit terms with Bison Transport must pay Driver Collect for all shipments until credit has been established. All claims must be handled as indicated in the Claims Procedure. Bison Transport will not accept short payment re claims.

CLAIMS PROCEDURES 1. When goods are received damaged or short, have the Consignee mark the damages or shortage on the bill of lading. 2. If the goods are damaged, call Bruce Smithson @ Bison Transport 800-668-4321 x253 for a claim inspection. 3. All damage claims must be reported within 60 days. 4. All shortage claims must be reported within 9 months. 5. If claim amount is unknown, send in an Intent to Claim. 6. The claim should be sent with the following documentation: a) Copy of bill of lading with damage or shortage noted b) Copy of the original invoice for damaged or shortage of goods c) Copy of paid freight bill d) Location of salvage for damaged goods 7. Claim will be acknowledged on receipt of information.
