Documented information is required when the organization requires it for the effective flow of its processes. Requirements for documented information are to be found at 16 different places in the standard. 7.5.2 Preparation and updating 7.5.3 Control of documented information The subjects of preparation, updating and control of documented information have been given their own subheadings and a greater emphasis placed on them. 11/16
