Standard Chamber Sections The standard chamber sections available are detailed in the table below and cover all common access chamber sizes. Due to the strength, light weight and ease of installation of the ECO 2 chamber sections our 25mm and 75mm sections cover all requirements when stacked, making it unnecessary to provide 100mm or 150mm sections. This gives the contractor the advantage of reduced stocking or ordering requirements whilst retaining the means of fine adjustment to establish the required levels. Guidance on installation of chamber sections Adequate space should be left around the chamber section to allow backfilling with suitable materials (we recommend a minimum of 150mm). The sections should be installed upon a pre made or in situ concrete base with the ground under the base compacted to a minimum depth of 100mm. Base levels should be checked to ensure clearance for installation of valve and pipework fittings etc. It is recommended that 75mm sections are used to build up the main height of the chamber with 25mm sections used for final adjustment to meet finished levels. The chambers should be capped off in the usual manner using a concrete haunching before installing the frame and cover. HPS Eco ² Chamber Sections can also be made watertight by using a suitable sealing compound. Manhole cover Minimum 150mm gap
