PINACLE ACH MODULE Getting Started To better assist you in transitioning to the new ACH module, below is an explanation of items that will convert, will not convert, and those that would require your attention. ACH early access begins two weeks prior to your ACH module conversion. PNC will convert your existing ACH data to the new module. Although we have converted your ACH data to the equivalent settings, there are some functions that require your attention prior to the conversion date. During this early access period period, we suggest that you verify your company and operators ACH entitlements, as well as what is listed below. Company Settings Operators Entitlements What PNC will convert... Your company-level settings will be converted over to the new ACH module to the equivalent. During the early access period, operators with the ConsultNC ACH module assigned will see two ACH module tabs: ConsultNC ACH and ACH (New). All operators with the ConsultNC ACH module assigned will be converted to the new ACH module with the equivalent entitlements. All operators with ConsultNC ACH limits assigned within their entitlement will be converted over with equivalent dollar limits. However, due to new functions and features, not all limits have been converted over. New operators who are assigned within the legacy ConsultNC ACH module, during the early access period (two week prior to the conversion date), will NOT be converted to the new ACH module on conversion day. Operators entitlements within the legacy ConsultNC ACH module that are updated during the early access period (two week prior to the conversion date) will NOT be automatically updated to the new ACH module on conversion day. Actions to take... None None Administrators should verify their operators entitlements to ensure that the converted entitlements are correct. Administrators should verify and/or add their operators ACH limits prior to conversion day. Due to system differences, certain ACH limits will be set to $0.00 and would require your attention. Limits which contained a zero dollar in the legacy ACH module will convert to all nines in the new module (unlimited). Administrators will have to update those new operators within the new ACH entitlements prior to conversion day. Administrators will have to update those operators entitlements within the new ACH module prior to conversion day. W5 1

Batch List Import Profiles New Applications! Domestic ACH (IAT) This application allows you to originate a U.S. dollar entry that is released into the ACH network. You must have the receivers address and other information to populate the 7 required IAT addenda records. A valid U.S. ACH receiving financial institution transit routing number is required to create this entry. Customer Debits and/or Customer Credits Customer Debits and Customer Credits are two ACH applications that are similar to the Consumer Payment/Collections application. All of the applications permit the ability to originate PPD or PPD+ entries. Customer Debits and Customer Credits are more restrictive in nature as they permit the operator to originate only PPD debits or only PPD credits respectively. Re-presented Check Entry This application allows your company to originate ACH debits when consumer checks that you have deposited have been returned due to insufficient or uncollected funds. In order for the check to be eligible to be recleared as an ACH RCK entry, the check must be drawn on a consumer account, be in an amount less the $2,500.00, and dated less than 180 days from the date you are transmitting the ACH entry to PNC. You must retain the original paper item for 90 days from the RCK settlement date. Copies of the checks must be retained for 7 years. If the Receiving Depository Financial Institution makes a written request for the check or a copy, the company must provide it within 10 banking days of the request. You will want to consult with your PNC Treasury Management representative to determine if this application is appropriate for your business.
