Procedures for Magaya WMS users This document proposes simple procedures to start using the Magaya WMS. Receiving This is the most important part of the whole process. If this step goes wrong the system will give you inexact results in all other steps. Informed Receiving The user has information of the cargo to receive. From PC 1- PC User creates the Warehouse Receipt with the information received from the client. It can be created manually or by importing the information in to the system. 2- From the Warehouse Receipt the PC User creates a Receiving Task and posts it to the WMS Mobile system 3- PC User print the labels (optional) From Handheld 1- The WMS Mobile user gets the new Receiving Task. 1

2- Find and select the task. 3- Scan or enter the location where the cargo is about to be received. 2

4- Print the labels if needed 5- Label the cargo 6- Scan labels 7- Tap on Finish when the task is done. Blind Receiving The user has no previous information about the cargo. From PC The Warehouse Receipt is created from the Handheld. After the warehouse receipt is in the database the user must use the PC to verify and complete the information on that warehouse receipt. Billing information must be checked in this step. From Handheld 1- User selects the Manual Receive icon 3

2- The user can enter the shipper and consignee name at this moment if needed. 3- User enters items manually by pressing the New button. 4

If the cargo is palletized user must check the Is Palletized check box; in this way the system will only print one label for the pallet. On the database the system will create a pallet with one level of detail. The user can change the Amount of equal items in the bottom of the screen to inform the system that is not only 1 item of this type but more. That way, the receiver doesn t need to enter the same information several times and the entering process time is optimized. The Move application can be used if is necessary to break the pallet. The system will print new labels for the boxes that were moved out of the pallet. 3.1- To repack loosed cargo at receiving time, do the following: 5

- Place pallet tag in an empty pallet. - Press Location/Pallet button. - Scan the tag. - Use the new button to add items inside the pallet. 4- The user prints labels for the cargo. There are three options to print the labels: 1) Printing the labels one by one while entering the boxes, 2) Print the labels in groups or 3) Print all labels at the end. 6

5- User labels the cargo Initial inventory Setup In order to start using the WMS the current inventory should be entered in to the system. The following are the recommended steps to setup the initial inventory. For companies that already have a Magaya Cargo System database. 1- Remove old locations Check locations that currently exist in the database and delete the ones that will not be part of the new configuration. All items that were in deleted locations will now be available to move to new ones. 2- Import / Create new locations Import file with locations table and organize the locations by zones. 3- Scan existing items into their locations To setup the system with the cargo you already have in the warehouse the Initial Inventory application must be used. The process is simple just follow the instructions in the screen: From Handheld device 7

1- Select initial inventory application 2- Scan / Enter pieces. Enter quantities. 3- Scan / Enter current location This initial setup can take a long time. That is why it is possible to enter first the most important items or the ones that are going to remain in the warehouse for the longest time and enter the remaining items progressively. New companies If the company does not have an existing system the recommended procedure is to enter Warehouse Receipts for the cargo that they have in the warehouse. If the Company has an existing system the data can be exported from the old system and imported in Magaya WMS. 8

Shipping Cargo Pick and load are the applications used to ship cargo out of the warehouse with Magaya WMS. Pick application will move the items for their current location to the Quality Control location (QC) or the shipping one. This task gives you the option to palletize the cargo before shipping. Load application is very similar to the pick one but is intended to move the items from their current location out of the warehouse. In this application the user will not be able to palletize the items. Pick Application From the PC 1- Create the Shipment or Cargo Release transaction. 2- Create a Pick task from the previously done shipment or Cargo Release and post it to the Magaya WMS Mobile. From the Handheld device 1- Select the Pick application and accept assignment. 2- Find and select the Pick Task you want to do. 9

3- The screen will show all locations that have items to pick. Scan or select the location. If there is more than one location you will be able to go to there and pick the items later. 4- If you want to palletize the items you are picking, this is the time to do it. The system will ask you for a pallet where to put the items on. If palletizing is not needed, just leave it in blank and click on OK button. 10

5- Scan the items being picked. Instead of scanning you can click on the Quantity button and enter the quantity of picked items directly on the screen. 6- In this step you can Move the picked items by clicking on the Move button or continue to gathering items from other location by clicking on the Next Location button and repeat the process from the step 3. Whenever you click on the Move button you will be asked for the destination location. 11

Load Application For cargo that does not need repacking and is going directly out of the warehouse you can use a Load task without issuing first a Pick task. This will speed up the shipping process. From the PC 1- Create the Shipment or Cargo Release transaction if necessary. 2- Create a Load task and post it to the Magaya WMS Mobile 3- After the Load task is finished items will remain in loaded status in the loading location. The PC user must set the originating transaction to In Transit state after the cargo departs; this will change the status of the items to In Transit and remove them from the loading location. From the Handheld device 1- Select Load application and accept assignment 2- Find and select the Load task you want to do. 12

3- A list of locations will be displayed. Select or scan the origin location. 4- Scan the items being loaded. Instead of scanning you can click on the Quantity button and enter the quantity of loaded items directly on the screen. 13

5- In this step you can post the Load to the Magaya System by clicking on the Move button or continue to gathering items from other location by clicking on the Next Location button and repeat the process from the step 3. Whenever you click on the Move button you will be asked for the destination location. Movements Movement is the application used when you want to relocate your commodities in the warehouse. Movement application is not intended to ship cargo out of the warehouse. 14

There are two types of movement you can do using the Magaya WMS: Informed Movement and Manual Movement. Informed Movement From the PC 1- In the Warehouse Inspector Screen, create a movement using the Movement Wizard. 2- Post the previously created movement in a Move Task at the end of the wizard. This task will be processed in a Magaya WMS Mobile device. From the Handheld device 1- Select the Move application in the Magaya WMS Mobile main screen. 2- Find and select the move task you want to do. 15

3- Scan or select the location where you are going to initiate the movement. 4- Scan the items you are about to move. Instead of scanning you can click on the Quantity button and enter the quantity of moved items directly on the screen. 16

5- In this step you can post the movement to the Magaya System by clicking on the Move button or continue to gathering items from other location by clicking on the Next Location button and repeat the process from the step 3. 6- Finally, move the items to the destination location by clicking on the Move button and scanning the destination location in the next screen. 7- If you are unpacking items, maybe they have no label. If that is the case you will be able to print labels for them. Manual Movement To execute a Manual Movement you only need to scan the location where the commodity you want to move is; scan the commodity itself and then scan the 17

destination location; that is the location where the commodity is about to be relocated. Let s do it step by step: 1- Select the Manual Move application in the main Magaya WMS Mobile screen. 2- Scan or enter the location or the pallet where the commodities that you want to move are. 3- Scan the commodities you want to move out of the previously scanned location or pallet. 18

4- Scan or enter the destination pallet. If you don t want to palletize what you are moving, you don t need to scan anything; just leave it in blank. If at least one pallet was scanned as part of the movement this screen will not be shown. 5- Scan or enter the destination location to complete the movement. 19
