The needs and requirements of specifiers, architects, designers and building contractors have been carefully considered and resulted in a substantial range of advantages. Easy Installation The unique characteristics of Glaze Panels allows for them to be fabricated on site using conventional wood working tools. All service points can be easily cut out and edges sanded and polished to achieve a finish equal to that of glass. Alternatively, generic extrusions made from acrylic or aluminium can be used to finish the joins. This all means a general building contractor or cabinet maker can carry out the job with no need to engage a specialist glazier. Therefore, installation becomes easier to manage and costs less. Full Installation Manual is available at: www.glazepanels.com.au Cost of Material The cost of Glaze Panels is significantly lower than glass alternatives. Freight & Packaging Glaze Panels weigh approximately 50% less than glass and have a greater impact strength which significantly reduces freight costs and the need for any specialised packaging associated with glass alternatives. Occupational Health & Safety Issues OH&S risks are reduced onsite by working with a lighter weight material.
