RCR is currently partnering with Wirsol and Edify Energy to deliver a large scale solar farm under an Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) contract. Under an EPC contract RCR will be responsible for the detail design, material supply and delivery, onsite construction, testing and commissioning works. RCR will engage with the local community to register their interest in providing products and services to support the project and construction works. During this time RCR may request additional information on company capability, products and services and budget pricing to support the tendering phase of the project. Edify Energy is a dedicated Australian renewable energy development and investment company, focussed on making an impact on the Australian renewable energy market. Wirsol is an international customer focused company in planning, financing, installation and maintenance of renewable power stations of all sizes. The Gannawarra Solar Farm project is a 50 MW AC (60 MW DC) Photovoltaic (PV) solar farm located West of Kerang, Victoria and it will be the first large-scale solar farm to be constructed in Victoria. The PV Plant will generate to 33kV and connect to Powercor s 66kV network via a 33kV/66kV substation located on the Project site. RCR is the EPC contractor and the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) contractor. Edify Energy is responsible for longterm asset management of the solar power plant. Together, the parties have extensive experience in the development, financing and construction of large scale solar PV projects, both in Australia and internationally.
Supply & Service Accommodation & Food Site Facilities Security Services Environmental Services Local accommodation for the RCR project management team and blue collar workforce for the duration of the construction works, typically between 12-14 months depending on the size of the project. RCR will be looking for single rooms with ensuite facilities, with optional meal packages. Transportation Local vehicle hire, 4 x4 Twin Cab Utes, 12-16 seater buses and bus services to transport workers from town to site and transport workforce around site. Traffic Management Traffic management services will be required at various stages of the project for site and plant mobilisation and demobilisation and material delivery. Fuel & Water supply Provision of diesel supply for plant and equipment and potable water for site facilities and grey water for dust suppression. Before construction works can commence, RCR will need to establish temporary site facilities for the project. Typically this will comprise of and require the following: Site Offices Crib Huts Equipment Hire Office Furniture & equipment Appliance Hire Generators Water Tanks Plumbing Services Carpentry Services Communications Service Connections Temporary lighting and site security guard for site access and security patrol. 24/7 services required for the duration of the project. Engineering Services Variety of fabrication, welding and mechanical engineering services, on and off-site. Plant & Equipment For the duration of the construction period we will require environmental services to providing ongoing monitoring of site activities and monthly reporting to align requirements of Construction Environmental Management Plant (CEMP). Supply & Service Fencing Supply & Installation Material Supply Civil Works Labour Hire / Other Permanent site perimeter fencing and security / access gates, typically 1-5m to 1.8m galvanised mesh fencing with three rows of barbed wire. Landscaping & Rehabilitation Services Site screening ( if required), reseeding and rehabilitation of site post construction.
