Felony conviction Q&A Q: Do I need to run a background check if the candidate discloses a felony? A: It depends. Under Randstad's felony guidelines, you must run a background check when a candidate discloses a felony IF you wish to hire the candidate. If the candidate discloses a felony that you determine disqualifies the candidate from further consideration for the position that you are filling, then you can redirect the candidate without ordering a background check. Q: What do I say to a candidate who discloses a felony that I determine disqualifies him from the position I am filling? A: Thank him for his interest in the position but that he fails to meet all qualifications for the position. Q: What if he asks me specifically if it was because of his disclosure on the felony questionnaire? A: You can tell him that what he revealed on the felony questionnaire disqualified him for the job position you were filling. 18

Final steps of the Rehire process Once the talent has completed and submitted the Re-Hire package you can review the information in RFO (same as the hire package) Remember to validate that the talent s W4 and direct deposit or Paycard information is up-to-date - the talent can update this information through Self Service if necessary - these steps are not currently part of the electronic rehire process 23
Next steps Get any in progress packages completed before end of day Thursday, or if you can, hold any new invites until Friday (During the go-live process Thursday night, any in progress packages will be cancelled) Company-wide go live 7/31 Review the Randstad hiring process and ensure that you and your team are familiar with the correct order of the hiring forms and process Begin using the improved Electronic Onboarding package to hire and rehire your talent beginning Friday! 24

If talent select to be paid via direct deposit they will be prompted to add their routing and account number. If talent select to be paid via a Money Network card, the Randstad employee must issue the card to the talent and input the account number in the talent record in RFO. Payroll Employee Pay Selection Record - Direct Deposit Authorization form - Money Network Authorization form - NY and NH W-4 State Tax Form I9 Talent complete section 1 of the I-9 form. Randstad employees complete section 2 of the form, and upload copies of the talent s documents to ADP. I-9 Once the talent has completed the Electronic Onboarding Package: Submit Onboarding Package, the I acknowledge box and clicked the blue Electronic Acknowledgement button the WOTC process begins.
