AMEREN ILLINOIS ENERGY EFFICIENCY PROGRAMS Eligibility: Ameren Illinois electric and/or gas customers (those paying into the program) Commercial businesses, non-profit organizations, and private schools Public entities previously served by DCEO Call 1.866.800.0747 to verify eligibility 4

2018 EARLY COMPLETION BONUS Complete project by: March 31, 2018-15% incentive bonus June 30, 2018-10% incentive bonus Sept. 30, 2018-5% incentive bonus Bonus not applicable to Small Business Direct Install, Instant Incentives, Online Store, Staffing Grant, SEM, Feasibility Study or Metering & Monitoring To qualify for the bonus, project financial commitments cannot have occurred prior to Sept. 19, 2017 and the project must be completed on or after Jan. 1, 2018. 5

Small Business Direct Install (SBDI) Program starts Jan. 1, 2018 Ameren Illinois small business (rate code DS2/GS2) customers including public sector will be eligible Measures expected to include: Lighting HVAC Water Heating Refrigeration Food Service Compressed Air Other 8

COMPRESSED AIR (Standard) Leak Survey & Repair Makes compressed air systems more efficient through leak analysis and repair Department of Energy estimates that on average, as much as 20% to 30% of a compressor's output is wasted on leaks Proactive leak detection and repair can reduce leaks by 50% to 75% (or more) Incentive: $14/hp (up to $20,000) 22

CUSTOM PROJECTS Electric Incentives - $0.07/kWh (lighting) Electric Incentives - $0.08/kWh (non-lighting) 33% increase from the current rate! Gas Incentives - $1.20/therm Custom incentives now cover up to 60% of the project cost Previously covered up to 50% 25

FEASIBILITY STUDY Maximum incentive $20,000 Pre-approval required Up to 6 months to complete the study Incentives lesser of 50% of the cost, $20,000, and 25% of the estimated annual savings identified in the study Cannot be combined with Staffing Grant 26

METERING & MONITORING Advance sub-metering to identify possible projects Base, Data, and Performance incentives Additional incentives for completed energy efficiency projects 27

RETRO COMMISSIONING RCx (Standard) Retro commissioning (RCx) is a process that improves how building systems function reduces operating costs Survey identifies low cost/no cost measures with a focus on operational and maintenance improvements Numerous benefits, including: Improved system operation Lower operating costs Energy savings Reduced cost of production

RETRO COMMISSIONING RCx (Standard) Four retro-commissioning incentives: Compressed Air 80% Survey Cost Large Facility 70% Survey Cost Industrial Refrigeration 70% Survey Cost Grocery Store 50-70% Survey Cost Implementation incentives Incentive provided upon repair/update of 1 year or less payback initiatives identified during survey
