Each of them has its own efficiency which depends on TiO 2 content and PVC Omyacoat 420 for PVC from 80 to 90% Omyacoat 420 allows a significant reduction of TiO 2 content in semi-gloss emulsion paint Omyabrite 1300 X OM can be used in a large range of TiO 2 content and PVC but is very efficient in matt paints with PVC from 60 to 70% and TiO 2 content from 10 to 20% 18

Summary of the presentation Omyacoat 420 is dedicated to cheap emulsion paints formulations with low binder and titanium dioxide content and with PVC from 80 to 90%. Omyabrite 1300 X OM has a range of high efficiency at PVC from 60 to 70% and allows : - a weight by weight titanium dioxide partial replacement - while maintaining a high level of optical and mechanical properties - and having a close level of wet opacity of titanium dioxide Omyabrite 1300 X OM allows also to replace most extenders which helps to rationalization Omyabrite 1300 X OM is the closest extender to applicative properties of titanium dioxide and more economic 36
