Instructor: Liz Magnee-Schalch, Technical Trainer Coupa University (Room - California East) How well do you understand your Coupa instance? Do you know how to configure Coupa to optimize cycle times or reduce potential pain points? This class, conducted in a fun and interactive workshop format, will address many of the finer points around Coupa configuration. Attendees will work together to either solve a specific problem or increase workflow efficiency! This game show themed workshop will consist of several segments designed to challenge your troubleshooting ability. We ll re-enact some kind of problem we ve seen from our customers, then see if you can figure out why it happened! The ensuing deconstruction and examination should prove insightful. This class will help you increase adoption by taking a hard look at the what information is really needed at what point in a transaction. Why is that field required? What information are you trying to get from the user for a particular type of request? Can this information be defaulted based on the type of goods or services being procured? Coupa s Purchase Orders are based on templates powered by a flexible markup language named Liquid. Learn the basic commands and structure of a Liquid template, and use that knowledge to customize your outbound Purchase Orders. Go beyond static POs to real time dynamic POs! Coupa gives you design freedom by using Liquid. Liquid was developed for usage in Ruby on Rails web applications and works seamlessly as a plugin or stand-alone library. In this class, we ll break Liquid templates down into its structural components. Learn about tags, objects and filters and their role in loading dynamic content.
