Growth Scenario Overview What is it? A prediction of where future growth and development my occur. Why is it important? The number of people and jobs in an area impacts transportation, and vice versa Is an input to a travel demand model, which provide forecasted traffic volumes and transit ridership.
Final Step - Suballocation to TAZs Subareas Traffic Analysis Zones
Growth Scenario Overview MPO staff emailed Scenario 4 TAZs in mid-february. Discussion: Is the TAZ file a good place to start? How can the scenario be adjusted to reflect short-term investments already made yet strive for growth as recommended in The Tomorrow Plan? How does the process shift from the Planning Subcommittee to all communities?
