Construction is an example of job production. What kind of things does a builder need to do to ensure they deliver a quality product? Extension: Describe why you think the construction industry has suffered during the recession. - 4 -

A drinks manufacturer is likely to use batch production as specialist machinery can help to increase productivity. This is where both the management and employees within the organisation will be encouraged to keep assessing how the manufacturing of a business can be improved. The term JIT is used in manufacturing and stands for just in time, which is where a business will only order and receive their stock or raw materials when they intend to use them.
