Graduate Certificate in Research, University of Tasmania, Australia Master of Science (Marine Biology), Universiti Malaysia Terengganu Bachelor of Applied Science (Conservation and Management of Biodiversity), Kolej Universiti Sains & Teknologi Malaysia FIELD OF RESEARCH [List 3-5 relevant research fields] Marine Gelatinous Zooplankton (Salps and Doliolids) Copepods Taxonomy and Ecology RESEARCH INTEREST [Write not more than 300 words] The taxonomy for Tunicates in Malaysia is understudied and incomplete. The images or drawings of tunicates have never been compiled in Malaysia. The idea of creating 'A Taxonomic Guide and Ultrastructure of Tunicates from Terengganu Waters' was basically to provide help for identifying Tunicates from Terengganu waters. The information files i.e. photos and drawings will be uploaded in basic HTML/CSS so that it could be upload to CD. For students who have just starting off in tunicates identification, they can just hone in on a particular group and ultimately species. For those with more zooplankton experience, they can refer to species-level taxonomic sheets describing diagnostic characteristics. Taxonomic information, photographs, diagrams distribution maps, information on ecology and key references will be included in the report. Monsoon-Related Changes in Zooplankton Distribution and Biomass in the Gulf of Thailand In this research we investigate the influence of monsoon-driven hydrographic features on zooplankton distribution and biomass in the Gulf of Thailand. Three cruises will be carried

out in 2017, particularly in April (inter-monsoon), July (south-west monsoon) and November (north-east monsoon). The key environmental drivers for spatial and seasonal changes of zooplankton will be determined.
