Hazard Identification The product is a disinfecting tablet for Removable Dental Appliances and Dentures. It is an effervescent tablet which activates in warm water so an immediate hazard is accidental ingestion. The risk of this occurring should be minimal if the hazard symbols & instructions of use are followed. Another potential hazard is accidental contact with eyes. - Do not swallow, or eat. - Avoid contact with eyes. Classification (67/548/EEC, 1999/45/EC): R36 - Irritating to eyes. Use gloves chemically resistant to this material when prolonged or frequently repeated contact could occur. Use chemical resistant gloves classified under Standard EN374: Protective gloves against chemicals and micro-organisms. Safety glasses (with side shields) should be consistent with EN 166 or equivalent. Wear adequate protective clothing when working with open product. Avoid contamination of clothing by product. Change contaminated or impregnated clothes and rinse them immediately with water. General ventilation should be sufficient for most operations.
