SYSTEM DESCRIPTION MIGUTAN EXPANSION JOINT CONSTRUCTIONS WITH EXCHANGEABLE CENTRE SEAL IN ACCORDANCE WITH DIN 18195 (WATER-PROOFING AGAINST NON-PRESSING WATER ) Uses MIGUTAN expansion joint covers ave been in use for more tan 0 years for sealing purposes in multi-storey car parks, parking decks (open air), underground car parks, swimming pools, industrial kitcens, pedestrian bridges, airports etc. A wide variety of reference objects can be proven. Special features Aluminium expansion jont covers wit grooved aluminium brackets, elastic centre seal and, on bot sides, long, sort or concealed AAS seets of MIGUFLEX quality, wear-proof, weater-proof, resistant to de-icing salt, and good resistance to waste water (ydrogen sulpide, microbes, bacteria) Te AAS seets can be used wit ot bitumen. Joint covers wit 00 mm AAS seets on bot sides (bot sides wit grooves, ensuring best-possible adesion wit area seal), for watertigt incorporation in various sealing systems in accordance wit DIN 18195 (e.g. seet seals, bituminous seals etc.) Anti-sliding tanks to structured stainless steel surface. Solid stainless steel caps ensure, te compression of te sealing elements, tanks to screw attacment using te appropriate torque. Fixture of stainless steel caps wit torque guarantees permanently uniform compression. Excangeable centre seal: Elastic, weater, petrol, oil and de-icing salt resistant, watertigt weldable centre seal wit double-web to ensure two-fold security to prevent ingress of water. Te centre seal can be excanged at any time, even wen installed, witout damaging te surface. Absolutely no ingress of damp or de-icing salt troug te centre seal at te level of te upper edge of te finised floor. Full sealing elements across te entire expansion joint, ensuring 100% watertigt seal. Test certification: An official test certification regarding te waterproof seal and payload is available and may be supplied on request. Fire protection: Te products FP 80 NI, FP 90 NI, FPG 90 NI, FP 110 NI, FPG 80 and FPG 110 ave been subjected to compreensive fire testing at MPA NRW. Tese tests were passed in accordance wit te test certificate and test report number 0007088. In accordance wit EN 1501-1 all products are classified in accordance wit Bfl-s1 (flame-resistant floorings, do not burn/drip). Intersections and connections can also be made watertigt even for te most complicated of expansion joints. We guarantee joint cover accuracy tanks to on-site measuring (factory system prefabrication including all intersections, transitions and connections). Minimum expansion joint widts: Due to te sape of te centre seal, minimum expansion joint widts are to be adered to for te following expansion joint covers: 50 mm for FP 110/5 NI 75 mm for FP 10/5 NI and FP 10/5 NI 95 mm for FP 155/ wit joint eigts of less tan 80 mm Fixture/dowelling: For te fixture of expansion joint eigts 5 mm and 45 mm in conjunction wit long AAS seets, counter-sunk screws of type MMS-F 7.5 x 80 are to be used. Gap between dowels approximately 00 mm. For te following joint covers, te dowels must be used on bot sides wit a gap of approximately 00 mm: FP 80/5 NI wit sort AAS foils Series FP /60 S NI. For all oter expansion joint covers, te gap between dowels is approximately 50 mm as standard. Cover plates: MIGUTAN in te swimming pool sector: If te MIGUTAN expansion joint constructions are used in a swimming pool area, due to te required cloride resistance, a iger quality stainless steel alloy must be employed. Tis must also be pickled. Tus, tis area of use must always be specified for tenders and inquiries! Stainless steel cover caps: After 10 to 14 days, tigten all screws of te stainless steel cover caps wit a torque wrenc (7 Nm). Please request our installation and assembly instructions. Alternatively, tere is an download function available on te Internet (www.migua.com). Expansion joint cover ancoring using ancor rods or loop ancors: To secure to filigree plates, te expansion joint covers may be supplied wit adjustable brackets fitted at te factory. Te connection of te individual lengts on te construction site is carried out using te pins installed at te factory. Tis ensures te eigt and side transitions of te individual joint lengts are te same. For weigt reasons and due to te improved andling, we recommend axial separation wen assembling MIGUTAN expansion joint covers wit loop ancors. To securely fix te expansion joint construction, te ancoring rods or loops must be welded wit te reinforcement. In te upper section, alongside te stainless steel caps, a gap must be left on bot sides as expansion joint (approximately 10 x 0 mm) between te joint cover and te concrete. Tis must subsequently be filled wit a suitable PU sealant to ensure it is watertigt (-flank adesion). Tese expansion joints can be made economically and cleaning using te AAP 50/0 connection joint filler joint. Te load specifications of air-filled and rubberised tyre trucks apply to for a weel contact patc of 00 x 00 mm. 5
