Many national and international organizations working for the promotion of flowers and fruits are joining hands as partners. It is an 18 days event covering all relevant topics for the promotion of international R & D partnerships in fruit and flori-based agriculture and agro-industries including agri-tourism. The demand of cut flowers and live plants is increasing day by day with the enhanced standard of living, aesthetic sense and awareness among the people. Also neglected and underutilized fruits have a key role in ensuring food security. The event will highlight the enormous scope and potential of this untapped sector. Worldwide dignitaries from nations known for floriculture and fruit crops are expected to join us to share their experiences. Kerala, the God s own country, is known globally for its nature embraced tourism and Wayanad being one of its premium biodiversity hotspots, offers immense scope to promote the theme. The platform will surely benefit every scientist/student/stakeholder associated with this industry by facilitating knowledge and experience sharing.
