- 2-1. Systems development life cycle (SDLC) provides overall framework for managing systems development process. What are the five (5) phases of the SDLC? (5/200) What is the objective of each phase of the SDLC? Briefly describe each objective. (15/200) Describe five (5) types of feasibility used to evaluate a project. (d) List and describe five (5) information-gathering techniques. 2. The objective of requirements definition is understanding understanding the users' needs, the business processes, and the systems to support business processes. In an online house registration system (www.mudah.com.my), for the event existing landlord registers a house to rent, create an event table entry listing the event, trigger, source, use case, response(s), and destination(s). - 3 - The business manager also prints the invoices. Patient invoices are printed monthly and sent to the head of household. Insurance invoices are printed weekly. When the invoices are printed, the business manager double-checks a few invoices against information in the system to make sure it is being aggregated correctly. She also enters the payment information when it is received. Each dental staff person is responsible for entering information about the dental procedures that he/she performs. The business manager also prints an overdue invoice report showing heads of household who are behind on their payments. Sometimes dentists like to see a list of the procedures they performed during a week or month, and they can request that report. Interpret and explain the use case diagram in the following figure (Figure 1). Explain the various roles of those using the system and what functions each role requires. Explain the relationships and how the use cases are related to each other. Figure 1...4/-

- 4-3. Systems design means specifying in detail how the many components of the information system should be physically implemented. Cohesion and separation of responsibilities are some of the fundamental principles that should be considered as a system is designed. Briefly describe each principle and the importance of the principle. What is three-layer architecture, and what are the three layers? Briefly describe the function of each layer in three-layer architecture. Figure 2 is a system sequence diagram for the Create new customer use case. Develop a three-level detailed design for this use case. This use case has two business layer classes, two view layer classes and one data access layer class. Figure 2...5/-

- 5-4. System analysts must take care in designing the forms that users see on the screen. Each form must be designed for usability. Based on question 3, :CustForm is one of the view layer classes. Consider customer ID, salutation (Ms, Mrs, Mr, Mdm), name, address, phone and gender are the attributes of the :CustForm class. Then design the form that would be appropriate for clerks to use when entering the customer data for creating a new customer. What is a metaphor of human-computer interaction (HCI)? Describe the three (3) metaphors of HCI. What are the three (3) objectives of integrity controls in information systems? In your words, explain what each of the objectives means. KERTAS SOALAN DALAM VERSI BAHASA MALAYSIA - 6-1. Kitar Hayat Pembangunan Sistem (SDLC) menyediakan rangka menyeluruh untuk menguruskan proses pembangunan sistem. Apakah lima (5) fasa SDLC itu? (5/200) Apakah objektif bagi setiap fasa SDLC? Jelaskan dengan ringkas setiap objektif. (15/200) Jelaskan lima (5) jenis kelayakan yang digunakan untuk menilai sesebuah projek. (d) Senaraikan dan jelaskan lima (5) teknik pengumpulan-maklumat. 2. Tujuan definisi keperluan adalah memahami - memahami keperluan pengguna, proses perniagaan, dan sistem untuk menyokong proses-proses perniagaan. Di dalam sebuah sistem rumah pendaftaran online (www.mudah.com.my), tuan tanah mendaftar sebuah rumah untuk disewa, membuat satu jadual acara (event) yang menyenaraikan, mencetuskan, sumber, kes guna, respon dan destinasi. Bagi masa acara untuk memberitahu berakhirnya pendaftaran rumah (1 bulan selepas pendaftaran pertama rumah untuk disewa), buat satu jadual acara kemasukan yang lain. Anggapkan bahawa pemilik adalah pengguna akaun yang sedia ada dari sistem pendaftaran rumah. Bina satu rajah kes guna untuk klinik pergigian ini. Penyambut tetamu menyimpan maklumat pesakit dan ketua keluarga. Dia akan memasukkan maklumat mengenai pesakit dan ketua keluarga. Dia juga akan menyimpan lawatan-lawatan pejabat oleh pesakit-pesakit tersebut. Maklumat pesakit juga dimasukkan dan dikendalikan oleh pengurus perniagaan pejabat. Selain itu, pengurus perniagaan itu mengendalikan maklumat tentang kakitangan pergigian....7/-

- 7 - Pengurus perniagaan juga mendapatkan invois. Invois pesakit dicetak secara bulanan dan dihantar kepada ketua keluarga. Insurans invois dicetak secara mingguan. Apabila invois dicetak, pengurus perniagaan menyemak kembali beberapa invois terhadap maklumat yang terdapat di dalam sistem untuk memastikan ianya sedang diagregasikan dengan betul. Dia juga memasuki maklumat pembayaran pada saat invois diterima. Setiap kakitangan pergigian bertanggung jawab untuk memasukkan maklumat tentang prosedur pergigian yang mereka lakukan. Pengurus perniagaan juga mencetak satu laporan invois yang tertunggak yang menunjukkan ketua keluarga siapa yang masih belum membuat bayaran. Kadangkala doktor gigi ingin melihat senarai prosedur yang dilakukan selama seminggu atau sebulan, dan mereka boleh meminta laporan tersebut. Terjemahkan dan jelaskan rajah kes guna di dalam rajah berikut (Rajah 1). Jelaskan pelbagai peranan mereka yang menggunakan sistem dan apa fungsifungsi bagi setiap peranan yang diperlukan. Jelaskan hubungan dan bagaimana kes-kes guna itu bersangkutan di antara satu sama lain. Rajah 1...8/-

- 8-3. Reka bentuk sistem bermaksud menentukan dengan lengkap bagaimana komponenkomponen yang banyak dalam sesuatu sistem maklumat sepatutnya dilaksanakan secara fizikal. Kohesi dan pengasingan tanggunggjawab adalah di antara prinsip asas yang sepatutnya diambil kira semasa sesebuah sistem direka bentuk. Jelaskan dengan ringkas setiap prinsip tersebut dan kepentingan setiap prinsip tersebut. Apakah seni bina tiga-lapisan, dan apakah ketiga-tiga lapisan tersebut? Jelaskan dengan ringkas fungsi setiap satu lapisan tersebut. Rajah 2 di bawah adalah sebuah rajah jujukan sistem untuk kes guna Cipta pelanggan baru. Bangunkan satu reka bentuk lengkap tiga-lapisan untuk kes guna ini. Kes guna ini mempunyai dua lapisan kelas perniagaan, dua lapisan kelas pandangan dan satu lapisan kelas capaian data. - 9-4. Penganalisis sistem sepatutnya memberi perhatian semasa mereka bentuk borang-borang yang pengguna lihat di skrin. Setiap borang mesti direka bentuk untuk senang digunakan. Berdasarkan soalan 3, salah satu kelas lapisan pandangan adalah :CustForm. Pertimbangkan customer ID, salutation (Ms, Mrs, Mr, Mdm), name, address, phone dan gender adalah ciri-ciri bagi kelas :CustForm. Kemudian reka borang yang bersesuaian bagi kerani-kerani menggunakannya apabila memasukkan data pengguna untuk mencipta seorang pelanggan baru. Apakah itu metafor bagi interaksi manusia-komputer (Human Computer Interaction HCI)? Terangkan ketiga-tiga (3) metafor untuk HCI. Apakah tiga (3) objektif bagi pengawalan integriti di dalam sistem maklumat? Jelaskan dengan ayat sendiri, apakah maksud bagi setiap satu objektif.
