Cargo services Terminal charges on goods Base rate. Lease, upgrade and maintenance of terminal area and buildings. Security Security charge covers parts of maintaining the terminal area according to international security standards. Calculation of Import Port Storage time starts from the next day from container discharge and ends when container is gate out from the terminal. Weekend days occurring during the free period are excluded from the calculation but will be charged for after the free period ends. Example: If container is discharged on Thursday, port storage will be charged as of Wednesday the week after, i.e. Friday, Monday, and Tuesday are free (first Saturday and Sunday are also free). Export and transshipment goods have 5 working days free of Port Storage. Calculation of Port Storage time starts on the day container is gate in to the terminal and ends the day before container is loaded on a vessel. Weekend days occurring during the free period are excluded from the calculation but will be charged for after the free period ends. Example: Container is gate in on Tuesday and loaded on Wednesday the week after. Port Storage will be charged for 1 day, i.e. Tuesday the week after gate in. In this case Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Monday free (first Saturday and Sunday are also free) as well as the day of loading Wednesday is also free. Temperature controlled units, units containing dangerous goods, and OOG units have the same free Port Storage terms as described above. Important: Additional storage surcharges apply to this type of units as per Port Tariff (see Storage Surcharges). General conditions Applicability of the Terminal Tariff The Terminal Tariff applies to all business through APM Terminals Gothenburg from 1 January 2017. Conditions of payment Payment terms are 20 days from issue date of invoice. Interest on overdue payments will be charged in accordance with the Swedish Interest Act. Please quote invoice number when making payment. Standard Rate Schedule The Standard Rate Schedule is an enclosure to the Terminal Tariff. The Standard Rate Schedule is in place to facilitate service to any customer without valid contracts at APM Terminals Gothenburg. The Standard Rate Schedule can be found at http:///en/operations/europe/gothenburg/information/important-links. We reserve the right to make changes to the Standard Rate Schedule with 30 days of notice. Determination of weights and measurements Charges are calculated on the basis of weights and measurements received in accompanying documentation or an average in general use in commerce. For any cargoes weighed and/or measured by the terminal, charges are calculated on the basis of the figures obtained. Claims All claims against invoices should be made within 8 days of receipt of the invoice. The claim should be sent to the Claims department according to the general claims procedure. Please check the web site for the updated instructions. VAT VAT is not included in the tariff rates. Changes to the Terminal Tariff We reserve the right to make changes to the Terminal Tariff with 30 days of notice. Applicability of the General Terms and Conditions If not set forth otherwise in this Terminal Tariff any services provided by APM Terminals Gothenburg are subject to the general terms and conditions published at http:///en/operations/europe/gothenburg/information/important-links to the express exclusion of any language to the contrary in any customer documents, any correspondence or any other form of acknowledgement referring to other terms and conditions, which are hereby expressly excluded and rejected.
