o Will send out an email Outreach & Communications Survey results meeting Thursday July 14 th Brownie points o Working on 2 nd story for August Video working on Brochure HR working on 1:30pm-2:00pm Human Recourses Mentoring Program Human Recourses Mentoring Program New Employee Advisory Program (NEAP) o 4 to start ended with 5 total o 6 events were held o Total of 82 seats filled with 56 unique participants o Would like to grow the program to 10-15 but hoping for about 20 o Hopes is to have every new hire get assigned a person o ~2-3 hour commitment a month One on One Mentoring Program o Establish a trusting relationship Focusing on the mentee professional development, career goals & networking Looking for mentors to match 15 mentees Mentor needs to have 2+ years at Brown Not a guarantee for your next job here a Brown Does not replace the role of a manager Working on a website with more recourses that will be available o Orientation (6 steps) 1. Information marketing Getting the word out 2. Applications A process of how to go through all of the applications 3. Selection/ Matching Taking nominations CLPD team will interview both mentor and mentee 4. Orientation Not sure if it will be held together or separate Matched that day 5. Structured programs 3-4 events throughout the program over 9 months 6. Formal program close Run for an academic year

Hoping that relationship with continue Still not sure how best to market this program o Questions What will the applications/ forum ask? Why are you applying to the program? Want to have some live events for staff to be able to ask questions about this program With the live event hoping people would self select out What is the time commitment? 1-2 hours a month Will have 4 pre set sessions How will you make your picks? Already have some selections criteria Interviewing o Similar to how the admissions team does it Will the mentor/ mentee have say in what they are looking for in a match? Yes Will there be something so staff knows what to expect? Hoping to have information sessions online and an in person session as well Will there be any sort of qualifications needed? Need to have passed probation period Mid career not entry level Do you have to apply to be a mentor? This year they are looking for nominees/ recommended What are you looking for in a mentor? Someone that is more senior here at Brown, been here awhile A record of informational helping people here at Brown already Someone in a leadership position already Has anyone ever been turned away from NEAP?
