Clean Energy in tandem with you to make our sky clearer and water cleaner

Clean Energy The key to China's future energy choice By 2020 China s Bi-Objective Emission Reduction Commitment Non-fossil energy will account for 15% of total primary energy consumption 15% In 2014 the ratio was 11.1% By 2030 Share of non-fossil fuels in primary energy consumption increase to 20% 20% CO2 emissions per unit of GDP will be reduced by 40 to 45% from the 2005 level CO2 emissions per unit of GDP will peak 02 Natural Energy Powering Nature

Primary energy consumption control Go global becomes national strategy Developing clean energy as national policy Nuclear power and other clean energy will embrace development opportunities Energy restructuring Air pollution prevention and control action plan Natural Energy Powering Nature 03

Focus on clean energy Draw a low carbon blueprint Low carbon emission reduction In 2014 CGN clean energy net power generation was 98 3 TWh Equivalent to Reduced consumption of standard coal by about 31.5 million tons Reduction of CO2 Reduction of SO2 emission by about emission by about 77.5 0.75 million tons million tons Reduction of nitrogen oxides emission by about 0.5 million tons Equivalent to afforestation of 0.21 million hectares, corresponding to the whole area of ShenZhen, China 04 Natural Energy Powering Nature

Beautiful Daya Bay Nuclear Power Base Daya Bay Nuclear Power Base Named China's most beautiful power plant Environmental Friendly CGN has established a well-developed radioactive waste treatment and environmental monitoring system. Since the operation of Daya Bay, Ling Ao Phase I and Phase II, the annual radioactive and waste emissions were far less than the national standards, the annual amount of solid radioactive waste generated were below the design criteria. Take Daya Bay Nuclear Power Base as an example, according to the long-term tracking and monitoring data of several monitoring stations within a radius of 10 km of the area, the surrounding area s environmental radioactivity has not changed since the nuclear power station began operations, and the biological population from land and sea in this region has not changed either.
