RO in Distilleries > 100 Distilleries have installed Different types of RO plants for spent wash. Our Specialized Disc Tube RO plants can offer 50 65% recovery on both Raw & Biomethnated Spent Wash. BMSW assuming 1000 KLD effluent @ 8% TS with 60% volume reduction. The rejects shall be 400 KLD @ 20% TS. So as per CPCB are we looking at Volume reduction or Final concentration??

ph correction Approx. 6 8 ltrs of HCL per ltr of BMSW is required. Approx. cost of HCL is Rs. 3.5 4.0 per kgs. ph correction can also be done by RSW addition.

Increase & optimize recovery The existing RO plants need proper operation & maintenance for optimum recovery / performance. We can increase recovery of existing RO plant from 40% to 65% We have successfully increased recovery with some modification & plant maintenance. The Membranes, chemical cleaners, spares & consumables supplied are in successful operation in various industries like Chemicals, Textiles, Molasses Effluent, Pharma, etc.

Reusable Water Permeate of RO shall have < 1000 ppm TDS, COD < 250 ppm No further treatment required Condensate of MEE shall have < 500-1000 ppm TDS & COD 2000 5000 ppm. CPU for condensate treatment is required which calls for high / additional Capex & Opex cost
