FOREWORD The war for top talent is more fierce today than ever before. Most organizations are facing the challenge of talent scarcity while the demand for top talent is constantly growing. Methodology Our database of ~10,00,000 candidates from key industries, who used 5 assessment tools (Psychometric, domain, cognitive, simulations, platforms and technical MCQs) from 2016 to 2017 has provided us with trends and insights regarding which assessment is being used most in which industry and which assessment tool usage has increased the maximum from 2016 to 2017. This study covers assessment tool usage data from 21 key industries across 5 assessment tools for year 2016 and 2017 by candidates with roles ranging from Fresher to Director. The total number of candidates who gave assessments are 17,57,736 and the total number of assessments that these candidates gave is 23,38,734. These assessments were given either during the process of Recruitment or Learning and Development.
