The function also manages projects, strategic sourcing, redeployment and outplacement and support services. This role will focus on development and execution of the strategic sourcing function for recruitment of top talent. This will incorporate two core areas of delivery (1) research to support the placement of hard to fill roles that Telstra wishes to directly source, and (2) the proactive sourcing and management of talent pools in business critical areas of the labour market to deliver on the business strategic objectives. Strategic Alignment Outcomes Creating a world-class recruiting function that attracts the best talent, enhances business performance and is famous for delivering an outstanding service experience. Alignment of Recruitment metrics with Company performance measures (eg- NPS, TTF, Quality of Hire) Lead and inspire the team to ensure that all recruitment requirements are delivered to and aligned with strategic and business goals to become a successful, high performing organisation. Key Stakeholder Relationships Internal External Other areas of the Recruitment/Resourcing team in particular Brands & Employment Marketing. Other areas of HR including Diversity, BU HR leaders, Strategic Workforce Planning Relevant business leaders to execute designated projects Relevant employment marketing suppliers eg. Linked In, Seek. NB. The ownership of these relationships will be with the Brands & Employment Marketing group

Key Accountabilities Work with relevant areas of the business including strategic workforce management, HR and the recruitment delivery team to identify critical skill requirements and develop appropriate sourcing strategies to ensure Telstra can meet its ongoing strategic objectives Provide insightful business/talent landscape commentary and fact-based research for the purpose of enhancing Telstra s thought leadership position on talent acquisition Lead a proactive approach to sourcing talent in identified critical areas of the labour market. This includes the development of appropriate talent pool management systems (including processes, measurement and technology) and engagement strategies aligned with the relevant EVP for that market segment. Anticipate and identify hiring trends, competitive strategies and regulatory changes that have potential impacts to hiring projects. Work with the Employment Brand & Marketing team on channel development, analysis and management strategies that assist in determining go to market strategies. Lead the sourcing strategy for complex business projects including planning, pricing and reporting. Work together with the recruitment project lead to ensure that the presentation of the plan and communication is seamless across the total project. Support the BU recruitment delivery team through the provision of appropriate research including talent and market mapping. Manage the commercial model to support cost recovery of agreed research projects. Provide advisory services as appropriate to project teams and the business on achievable recruitment targets based on (diversity, talent supply, salary benchmarking, competitor landscape) Maintain knowledge of best practice sourcing techniques and strategies. Position the Sourcing team accordingly as a centre of excellence in the TCC through being a passionate advocate for sourcing best practice. Leadership and coaching of the team Develop methods to ensure that there is appropriate skill transfer on sourcing techniques and channels to the BU recruitment delivery team. Demonstrated industry experience in similar role.
