Mindon design and manufacture process ovens, finishing systems and equipment for a range of exacting industrial processes Spray booths and extraction systems Mindon Engineering design and manufacture a range of high-specification systems and equipment for industrial applications including: Paint spray booths, spray rooms and extraction systems Powder paint booths, cyclones and after filters Metal pre-treatment equipment Degrease and iron phosphate systems Industrial process ovens Drying and curing systems We build a series of standard sizes for all our products plus we design bespoke systems, tailored to fit your space and process. We produce a range of spray booth systems to provide efficient environments for finishing including: Wet paint, varnish and lacquers Ceramic glaze Resins and enamels Lubricants We also produce dye-penetrant spray applications for Non-Destructive Testing and crack detection. Our spray booths are available with a range of extraction systems including: Dry Filter booths using double row filters including Andrea paper filters and Paint Stop mesh filters Baffle Booth Systems using multi-row baffle screens to recover overspray in ceramic processes. Water wash systems with water curtain and scrubbing chambers for most types of spraying media. Enclosed Spray Room applications with filtered and heated make-up air input facilities Powder paint booths in a range of sizes for static, manual and continual conveyorised applications. We can design booth enclosures in formats to suit your process needs from singe operator units to multiuser systems with operator and product apertures to suit your component sizes. Extraction systems Our extraction systems use high efficiency cyclone type powder collection units for powder paint recovery, quick release hopper mechanism and explosion relief panels with vertical discharge outlets. Fully automatic reverse-pulse-jet cartridge type after-filters. Mindon cyclones and after-filters are ATEX certified and approved by Baseefa for use with St1 explosive dust Directive 94/9/EC. Mindon produce enhanced extraction facilities for volatile and noxious fumes. Material handling equipment Mindon supply a range of systems designed to transport your materials and components. Monorail type overhead conveyor systems with pendant load capacities including 13kg, 23kg, and 50kg as standard. Our systems can also be designed to transport much heavier capacities. Box and Batch ovens Our box and batch ovens can be supplied with unpowered, free-track manual conveyor systems, portable racks and stillages and oven equipment. We also design and make bespoke oven furniture to suit your industrial process. Standard range temperatures from 40 C to 250ºC Higher temperatures ranging from 250ºc to 550ºc Our systems are designed to minimise metal-to-metal contact in the oven shell to maximise efficiency. Conveyorised tunnel ovens Our conveyorised ovens can be produced in virtually any size. They can include mono-rail overhead conveyors for light and heavy duty applications, including power and free systems for multi-cell manufacturing and process handling. Parallel chain conveyors for vertical tower and camel-back ovens with flight bars and hanging work trays/holders Flat bed conveyor ovens Horizontal flat belt conveyors with: Woven wire belt Honeycomb belt Slatted belt Flight bar system Tower and Camel-back ovens For efficient operation with open apertures, this design of oven is suitable for either, indexing or continuous conveyorised operation and ideal for processing mass-produced small components with low running costs. Vertical Tower ovens offer high efficiency on a low factory floor footprint and are particularly suitable where factory floor space is at a premium. Flat bed conveyor ovens Horizontal flat belt conveyors with: woven wire belt honeycomb belt slatted belt flight bar system...can be produced in any size Metal Pre-treatment For cleaning and chemical protection of metal substrates we provide both off-line immersion type and on-line aqueous spray tunnel degrease and iron phosphate pre-treatment systems with heated pre-treatment and hot/cold spray rinse facilities.

Fuels and heating media Our ovens and systems can be designed to run on the fuel solution that fits your requirements: Direct gas fired air-circulated, Indirect gas-fire with heat exchanger Electric in-line heating Indirect steam heating Extraction systems Mindon Engineering design and manufacture a range of extraction systems to suit your process requirements: Box ovens with fan assisted fume exhaust duct outlets and over door extract canopies. Tunnel ovens with highly efficient vestibule and air-curtain assemblies, controlled to retain heat within the oven chamber. We can also provide post-curing fan-assisted and chilled air cooling facilities. Access Options Our ovens can be configured with various access options including: Hinged access doors Sliding doors Vertical lift with counterbalanced doors, manual and powered options Control Systems Our ovens are controlled and managed by straightforward manual controls or more sophisticated PLC control systems that can be directly fitted to the equipment or set up remotely. Designed to match the process to be controlled, our systems can be semi or fully automatic, providing temperature control instrumentation, temperature recording and data logging facilities and can be linked to your computer system. Quality Assurance Technical Support Service Training Quality Assurance and Technical Support Mindon Engineering specialist engineers install and commission our equipment throughout the UK. Our flat-pack mode of supply and installation option means we can build our ovens on the difficult access sites. All our equipment is installed and calibrated to ensure it operates at peak performance and efficiency. Service Mindon also offer a Service Contract to ensure optimum operation - a planned maintenance programme can be designed to suit your process and equipment. Our service contracts include a guaranteed emergency breakdown cover. We manufacture and stock a wide range of consumables and components - most of which can be dispatched at short notice. Training To ensure your Mindon equipment is used to best advantage we provide on-site training as part of the commissioning procedure. More in-depth training on control systems can also be arranged.
