LaHabra Cementitious Stucco Finishes The First Name in Cementitious Stucco Finishes. For over 80 years, LaHabra has been recognized as the nation s leading source of traditional cementitious stucco finishes. That s because its reputation is built on providing the products, selection and support that continue to create a legacy of beauty and affordability long after the initial sale. Quality and Quantity You Can Count On. From raw materials to final product, LaHabra takes steps to ensure its finishes deliver the quantity and quality needed to get the job done and done right every time. All portland cement, sand and lime used are required to exceed industry quality standards. Manufacturing is continuously monitored by quality control and color lab personnel. Computer-aided manufacturing minimizes variability for greater consistency, batch-to-batch. Advanced, sonic-sealing technology reduces spillage of bagged goods. A packaged color and base system for job-site mixing limits the need for excess inventory. Comparison of Cementitious and Acrylic Finishes Feature Cementitious Acrylic Application thickness 1/8 inch (3 mm) 1/16 inch (1.5 mm) Helps to compensate for wall irregularities. Does not easily hide wall irregularities. Ease of application More labor intensive than acrylic stucco finish. Less labor intensive than cement stucco finish. The Advantages of Cementitious Stucco. Cementitious stucco has been used successfully as an attractive and long-lasting construction material for centuries. Today it is more widely used than ever based on its appearance, durability and affordability. Extremely sturdy can withstand many types of abnormal weather conditions. Highly durable resists impacts and abrasions and can easily be repaired. Water resistant, vapor permeable and mold and mildew resistant. Fire and Noise Resistant with a wide range of insulating capabilities when used with codecompliant assemblies. Low maintenance cleans easily with mild soap and water. Long-lasting colors resist fading and never require repainting. Can be applied in a wide variety of textures and assortment of colors. Over-all life-cycle cost has proven to be the least of all wall cladding materials.

How other Wall Claddings Compare with Cementitious Stucco. Cementitious stucco is a natural building material comprised of portland cement, sand and water with proprietary ingredients added that enhance its desirability as an alternative to wood, vinyl or metal, hardboard and natural stone. Wood is vulnerable to damage by termites, rot and fungus and requires painting and staining that add to its cost. Vinyl comes in a limited variety of colors, fades quickly and is easily damaged by wind, impact and weather conditions. Metal is only available in a limited range of colors and textures and is easily dented, requiring professional repair. Brick and stone cladding, while highly durable, are also quite costly. Based on both initial and long-term maintenance costs, stucco has become one of today s preferred wall cladding materials. Cementitious Stucco Compared with other Wall Claddings.
